James Hahn’s strategy Sunday in the final round was a little unorthodox, but it proved successful as the 30-year-old Californian captured his first Nationwide Tour victory at the Rex Hospital Open at TPC Wakefield.

When B.J. Staten drained the long birdie putt on 18 late Saturday, he put himself back in the lead and set up what will be a challenging, competitive Sunday afternoon at the Rex Hospital Open at TPC Wakefield Plantation golf course.

Justin Hicks posted his second straight five- under 66 on Friday to take the lead during the suspended second round of the Rex Hospital Open.

Jim Renner used an 8-under-par 63, his low round of the year, to move into the lead midway through the opening round of the Rex Hospital Open Thursday.
