Climate Change Denial Still Runs Strong in US

Nov 29, 2011 Full story: Common Dreams 1,023

On the US political stage, skepticism and denial of climate change are as popular as ever, and experts say that world talks which opened Monday in Durban, South Africa are unlikely to turn the tide.

It's not surprising that the author of this article is anonymous, what type of idiot would have the gall to put their name to something with, "Climate Change Denial" in the title?

Uh, could the author be referring to the millions of idiots who deny the total consensus among all major scientific bodies with any bearing at all on climate?

You know, the people Rednex trolls vote for:

Climate change, formally Global Warming, is a scam. It was never more then a vacant theory, no consensus, and the inside memos released a couple years ago, and recently prove it was all junk science at best, and a criminal scam. No one pays any attention to it any more. It has been dismissed as irrelevant.

Global warming is causing the climate change, Mary E. There is no scam but in your mind. If you disagree, please provide evidence to your claims.

Furthermore, you are no judge or jury to charge nameless others as you do here. You may wish away but you won't succeed removing the truth of the climate change and the existing consensus.

Right now, 190 nations are discussing at the Durban climate conference:

(1) The road map for a future global deal on reducing carbon emissions.

(2) Developing countries insistence that rich nations pledge further emission cuts under the Kyoto Protocol.

(3) Finalization of some deals struck at last year's summit. These include speeding up the roll-out of clean technology to developing nations.

(4) A system for managing the Green Climate Fund, scheduled to gather and distribute billions of dollars per year to developing countries.

(5) Progress on funding forest protection.

So you are wrong, Mary E, about dismissal or irrelevance. Wake up and learn about global warming and climate change.

If this wasn't tragic it would have been funny. When you think US contributed to climate change enormously.

The fact that Americans are the most media illiterate and dramatically lack the critical thinking abilities of the rest of the civilized world is clearly demonstrate4d by this article.

It also shows that $100's of MILLIONS of propaganda is highly effective.

And it demonstrates the effectiveness of Frank Luntz' advice to 'create doubt.'

AGW continues to be a massive scam by the neo-Marxist.
East Anglia has once again been busted for reporting false data.

The AGW scam is a perfect scam for the Communist control freaks.

Anyone who has studied the MWP and Little Ice Age knows that
climate has, and always will fluctuate, regardless of what humans do.

Unfortunately, the Marxist media still promotes the scam.

From the article-

During this Congress, the Republican-controlled House has voted 21 times to block actions to address climate change," he said at a hearing this month. "History will look back on this science denial with profound regret."

There, fixed that for you, Texi-Hick.
ok iJiTCraP. IF it's tween you or the 99 out of 100 climate scientists.....I'll side with the scientists. Thanks anyway.

Ps- you arguments are incoherent and kind of "paranoid" do you think anyone really takes you seriously?

Okay let's see wild fires burned out of control all over the world. They dumped more CO2 gases into the environment than men do. Then there are all of those pesky volcano that are dumping an additional several BILLION tons of CO2 gases and toxins into the atmosphere every day. We can't forget all of the CO2 gases released into the atmosphere by every living creature on this planet as well as the gasses released by the swamps, bogs as well as every other body of water. Oh yea and what about all of the methane gases that are release from deep within the earth by earth quacks and seepage to the surface through cracks in the earth's crust.

Next I'd like to direct your attention to sun flares and the ever fluctuation of radiation emitted by the sun.

Then there are those under water volcanoes out in the Pacific Ocean. In particular just off of the coats of Mexico that continue to heat up the waters just off of the coast of Mexico and elsewhere in the Pacific.

It's not Global Warming,
it's Ocean Warming

Sun and Volcanic Eruptions Pace North Atlantic Climate Swings

All of the Cap and Trade Legislation and forced reduction of CO2 gases will not stop the climate from changing as it has done for millions of years.

You must prove that wild fires are more rampant than in the past & NOT DUE to already rising temperatures due to AGW. You must prove volcanoes(undersea, as well as land based) are more rampant than in the past. You must prove volcanoes put 'several billion tons of CO2.... into the atmosphere EVERY DAY'.

That is just the point they are unpredictable as they occur at varying regularity and intensity. They ALL have a direct immediate effect upon the climate.

Back before we had electricity people cooked, heated their homes and lite up their homes with oil, coal and wood fires. Most were open hearth type fires or in fireplaces. We did not see the drastic effects of CO@ gases the global warming people keep claiming. Back in 1978 there were 6 major earthquakes (magnitude 7 or greater) and 10 major volcanic eruptions. At the time I noticed that the Jet Stream carrying frigid winds down from the arctic circle dipped as far south as the northern parts of Florida just after the series of quakes and eruptions. I was living in Pittsburgh at the time as winter temperatures dipped to 80 below zero with August warmth only in the mid to upper 40s. We even saw SNOW in northern New York State that July. Those earthquakes together with the unusual volcanic eruptions caused the Earth to shift on it's axis. Since then I have watched the earthquake and volcanic activity and I have noticed that whenever there is an active series of volcanic activity especially under the ocean we have more than usual severe storms. When there are an unusual number of major earthquakes the weather is equally unstable as more super heated subterranean gases are released into the atmosphere.

These event are normal for this planet where the only variables are in their frequency and severity. Therefore blaming climate change on human activity alone is totally irresponsible and extremely dangerous. We have got to take everything into account and when we do we learn that man is responsible for such a small portion of the causes of climate change.

Prior to say 1850 prairie fires scorched millions of acres of land every year as they burnt out of control most if not all of the summer or dry season. This was also true in Africa during the same time period. The same thing holds true for forest fires as most burnt out of control for the best part of the dry months. Today because of extensive farming in the Great Plains and better fire control these fires are not nearly as devastating as they once were. That means less CO2 being released into the atmosphere today as say 100 years ago or even 200 years ago.

It is the same thing with the holes in the Ozone. It wasn't until we were able to study them for longer than 10 years that we realized that the holes open and close normally and were NOT caused by man or flora carbons gases as had been claimed by the exact same people who are now screaming about climate change and global warming.

Okay so there we have it. Back prior to 100 years ago there was a whole lot more CO2 being released into the atmosphere then there is today and we did not see any of the catastrophes that are currently being predicted. Therefore History proves global warming and climate change are all hoaxes.

I don't have to prove anything to the likes of you. If you disagree, fine. That does not make you right. Check out the new memos that were just released a couple days ago. They are more damning then the last memos that proved Global warming was a complete fraud. You people have scammed the last taxpayer money you can get. We know what you did, and we won't pay another penny for junk science.

Alarmists need to stop using phrases like Climate Change Denial, it makes them look more foolish than they are.
I don't know anyone who denies that climate changes, albeit imperceptibly slowly.
