I think it's unfortunate that so many of the websites in africa starting up are e-commerce sites that are just trying to make a buck. but classifieds obviously could be very important to people.

Rather than build a more robust technology infrastructure I think Africa should invest in the expansion of its carrier pigeon network.

if a.i.d.s. was spread same way internet progress was slow (ly),there would have been less problems.

Local classified companies are also emerging in Kenyan (www.gosimba.com ) catered to the African market. Personally I think it’s good that local entrepreneurs are coming up with such amazing sites…wish them the best of luck.
