It is indeed with a great sorrow that we see the passing away of a great personality in our country Uganda.Brigadier Mayombo was young, energetic, intelligent and spiced with humour. His contribution to our nation will live forever.I therefore send my sincere condolences to M7,Ivan Koreta and all who knew Brig.Mayombo.May God console his family.

I believe in putting it straight. As much as i mourn with the late's family he just dumped in London for a new girl, Brig.Mayombo was on the wrong side of History. He did a lot for Uganda, but he bruised himself in his execution of duty. He had no regard for human rights and posterity may judge him harshly. As a young, smart and previleged right handman to Museveni, should should have done better that what history has documented.

He was Noble just like his name, characterwise he lived to it. We all looked upto him as our role model. From 1991 when I got to know him as a 16 year old and how relentless and hard working he was. this is a robbery I cannot come to terms with. May his soul rest in peace.

Putting all political differances aside , the country has lost a role modle. Its that person who would one time have came out and showed Ugandans the truth as col. Besigye, maj. gen. mugisha muntu and the rest. Its not the nrm govt alne to mourn or mayombos farmily, its the whole uganda to mourne for him. May his soul rest in eternal peace.

its not the govt of president Museveni to mourn alone for Mayombo neither his farmily. his death is a disaster to all ugandans coz he could also one time expose the truth to ugandans about the objectives of this govt to ugandans just as col. besigye, maj.gen. mugisha muntu and others but since God has called him, no objection. may his soul rest in eternal peace.

The NRM government should invest in our hospitals to save us the embarrasment of flying to Nairobi and South Africa for treatment. A government which cannot save its best personalities of the likes of the late Brig Noble Mayombo, Wapa....is not worth a grain of salt. It is such a shame that we lose a young man at 42 years!! RIP Noble Mayombo
