It's nice to read that something good happens in this world sometimes. Best wishes to all of you.

What's wrong with these people? How did they all "lose touch" with one another - how do you not see your brother in 10 years? Can you say 'lack of family values?'

Oh... it is entirely possible! I have family that lives within a half-hour from me and HAVEN'T SPOKEN TO ME IN 26 YEARS! THEIR CHOICE, NOT MINE! HOW RIDICULOUS IS THAT! It is refreshing to learn that there are still some people in this world that respect the sanctity of family!

What about the scumbag ex-husband who took a woman's children away from her and deprived her of all those years???? He should have some consequences for his actions.

"Just a thought" should keep in mind that this is only one side of the story. I happen to know the other side of it but choose to let my brothers make their own conclusions. Whether or not I agree with this, I respect and love them enough to be happy for them. It's unfair for self-righteous others to make judgements about people without having all the facts.

I agree with Show some respect....I am coming from the other side here, I am happy for my family especially my grandmother. However, I also recognize that it has been 53 years, and their are two sides of the story. The only two people who will probably ever know the actual story and all the details that were involved would be the two parents. We are chosing to leave the past in the past where it belongs, and welcome an extended family.

As was said before only half of the story is known to the public. I don't agree on what my grandfarther did but he had his reasons for doing it. Its all in the past just happy to see our family is coming together.

Wow! I lived next door to Dot and her family for almost 20 years and her grandson Philip was my best friend and I never new that she had missing family. That is awesome that they have reunited after so long. Congratulations!!!!!
