Vietnam, Lao and Combodia should be united as one country to build a strong economy and country to defend themselves against the Chinese. Any objections?

The name of the new country will be United Viet Lao Com. Eventually, Thai will join too. Then the name will be changed to the Greater United Southeast Asian (GUSA). Imagine who much bigger the country be?

LOL.
First country, Vietnam doesn't want Lao and Combodia to be one with VN.
Second country, Vietnam welcome Thailand, but only if Thailand become a communist country. Even if VN is not a communist country, Thailand will not join VN.
Rich people do not want poor people to live with them in the same house. To the riches, the poors are liabilities. The EU has the same problem now, with the eastern poorer Europeon countries wanting to join the EU.

I read an article that said Vietnam's economy will exceed Thailand's economy in less than ten years if Vietnam continue it's grow at the current rate. In term of looking after the poor, no problem, we will be the big brother. We will help the poor.

Choi,

Don't feel offended if you are Cambodian. China is the world's biggest threat and I just think of ways for the little Southeast nations to protect themselve. I have lot of Combodian friends and I get along with really well. We are just like brothers. It's the Chinese from mainland China who looks down on us, Southeast Asians, when we go out.

Do you know the reason why I talk to you? It is because your brain/mind is arkward. I would not talk to you if we had the same thinking. If I agree with you with anything, most likely not, I will ignore you.

Dan you are such a liar! I'd rather live with chinese, they've been living in Cambodia for centuries and never once tried to rule nor take a piece of our land, in fact they blend in our society so much that they have become Cambodian on the contrary vietnam had, has and will always try to take as much land as it could. vietnamese who live in Cambodia even try to change some infrastructure into vietnamese name such as the chba ampe bridge now referred to by vietnamese as the ho chi minh bridge. Who the hell gave them right to this!!!!!

I am sorry to hear that ForeverKhmer. I sincerely wish the Combodian people and the Vietnamese people living peacefully together. May the two countries prosper in trade and raise the living standards of living for the people in these two poor countries. For the people of these two or three (including Lao) have been poor for hundreds of years.

ForeverKhmer,

If you think the Chinese government can be trusted, look at Tibet. I am 100% pure Chinese myself. But I can tell you. The Chinese government can't be trusted. Or maybe I should say all Communist governments cannot be trusted.

Dan,
I have to agree with you 100%.
Even the communist countries don't even trust each other. Outside, they all say to each other, "you're my brother, my comgrat", but in the inside they would love to stab each other in the back.
The Chinese don't trust the Vietnamese. The Vietnamese don't trust the Chinese. The US, "ding-dong, ROUND 2".

Ok, good that we disagree with each other. But tell me, other than disagreeing with people about the BAD communist ideaology, do you ever disagree with the communist government of VN?

That's called politics. Welcome to the world of politics. The relation between human and human, country and country, party and party are the same. Today you are friend, tommorrow you are enemy, the day after you are friend again.

Using your example, it is more like ...

Vietnam doesn't trust the US and China.
US doesn't trust China and Vietnam.
China doesn't trust the US and Vietnam.
