Dear Readers,

I recently visited Hanoi and became quite interested in the Long Bien Bridge. It was built by Gustave Eiffel during French colonisation named after Paul Doumer. During the American War it was used to import military goods and after many bombings and repairs it still survived until today. I find the history fascinating and I started to collect various material on that bridge.

If you have any postcards, photographs, newspaper articles or other text on Pont Paul Doumer or Cau Long Bien as it is known today I would be delighted to hear from you. Of course I am willing to reimburse you for troubles. Please email me at marcus.bohr@rca.ac.uk . I am looking forward to hear from you.

Yours Marco
