Arms Sales By Supplier Nations
http://www.globalissues.org/Geopolitics/ArmsT... The United States is Still #1 in Arms Sales http://www.commondreams.org/views02/0810-02.h... "U.S.-origin weapons find their way into conflicts the world over. The United States supplied arms or military technology to more than 92% of the conflicts under way in 1999.[3] The costs to the families and communities afflicted by this violence is immeasurable. But to most arms dealers, the profit accumulated outweighs the lives lost. In the period from 1998-2001, over 68% of world arms deliveries were sold or given to developing nations, where lingering conflicts or societal violence can scare away potential investors.[4]" http://fas.org/asmp/fast_facts.htm US is a top weapons seller by far http://www.boston.com/news/world/articles/200... http://www.defencetalk.com/forums/archive/ind... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arms_industry |

con chot, When did the US enter VN? And when was the war in VN started? BTW, Sy HUYNH of HCM's Road and Transport Department took nearly $US 1 million bribe to give the contract to a Japanese firm. Do you know that this firm include that cost into the total cost of the project? In another word, if Sy did not take the bribe and did his job honestly, he would save VN million dollars. How many "Nha Tinh Nghia" can be built with that million dollars, con chot? I am an anti-vietcongs yet I have sympathy for those ex- bo doi who are fighting a bigger battle to survive. I know that you and vietcong regime hate VNCH and have done all you can to punish our comrades suffering in VN right now, but shouldn't you and vietcongs at least look after those who lost their limbs fighting so that you can enjoy the glory of beating the world best? Think careful at every word I write to you, con chot. Please find it deep inside your human soul to see the injustice this vietcong regime does to its own. If you can see this, you know how bad vietcong regime has mistreated the general population in general and those in the opposing side in particular |
Do research and analysis on Halliburton, Kanga. Halliburton says bribes may have been paid Oil services company in middle of alleged $180 million scandal http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6436957/ Halliburton allegedly abused disclosure rules Used them to keep all performance information on military contracts secret http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/15446508/ |

The American War: The U.S. in Vietnam "summary: Pinky & Bunny discuss the origins of the Vietnam War (also known as the 'American War' in Vietnam). The episode is comprised of four short chapters: 1. Misrepresentations. 2. Desire and Struggle: a basic timeline of events. 3. Searching for Reasons. 4. Consequences." http://youtube.com/watch... 'So long as we believe we lost the war, the question can be asked,“If we had fought harder, could we have won?” Some Americans still talk about how we fought the Vietnam War “with one hand tied behind our back,” yet with only one hand we managed to drop 6.5 million tons of bombs and 400,000 tons of napalm on the people of Southeast Asia. Short of nuclear weapons, it’s not clear what additional forms of violence we could have unleashed on the people of Vietnam.' http://www.commondreams.org/views/050300-102.... "Despite American financial supports, amounting to about three-quarters of France’s war costs, 250,000 veteran French troops were unable to crush the Viet Minh. Altogether, France had 100,000 men dead, wounded, or missing trying to re-establish its colonial empire. In 1954, after French forces were defeated at the battle of Dien Bien Phu, a peace conference was held in Geneva Switzerland. At the conference, the French and the Vietnamese agreed to divide Vietnam temporarily into a non-Communist South and a Communist North, pending re-unification following elections scheduled for 1956. Those elections never took place. South Vietnamese President Ngo Dinh Diem, with U.S. backing, refused to participate in the elections for fear of an overwhelming victory by Ho Chi Minh. The failure of the South to fulfill the terms of the Geneva Accord led the North Vietnamese to distrust diplomacy as a way to achieve a settlement." http://www.digitalhistory.uh.edu/database/art... "Within two months, at least eight US troopships were diverted from their mission of bringing American troops home from World War II. These ships were used to transport French troops and Foreign Legionnaires from France into Vietnam, to begin a recolonization process." http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/A664058 "We of the Kennedy and Johnson administrations who participated in the decisions on Vietnam acted according to what we thought were the principles and traditions of this nation. We made our decisions in light of those values. Yet we were wrong, terribly wrong. We owe it to future generations to explain why." What are you doing in the US? Being treated like an outcast so don't have a sense of belonging? Well take it up with the US authority. It doesn't concern me. I hope that the good people of US and Iraq will take care of it. But it doe not alter the fact that vietcong Sy HUYNH is a crook and his corrupted conducts have damaged Vietnam. This is my concern. You should ask yourself this question. Are you for the vietcong regime or for Vietnam and her people? You have to sort out your own mental deficiency. You have big problem with morality. Would you murder because someone is a murder? Would you steal because someone is a thief? Would you be a rapist because someone commits sex offences? Would you eat the dirt because someone does? As I have said many times. You and the rest of vietcongs can not win any argument rationally. This is why vietcong regime has to use terror to retain power. Anyone can see that but you and the vietcong supporters. |
You are very sick! The US never did enter VN they dropped in and snicked out. Which war? |

even vietcongs have come out of hiding. Why must you hide behind someone else nickname. Seriously, you must have some integrity. Or you don't have any left and still owe this forum heap? If you do good, you might have some integrity back. Bit by bit, you never know, you might be able to repay what you owe this forum in honesty, integrity... I can help you with this advice. Don't follow vietcongs bad example of stealing, lying, cheating. Hard and honest work will get you over the line. |

Some Silly VNCH underlings think that the names they use here to post matters are their real names.
No no no. Those are nick names only. Some other silly VNCH underlings think they own their nick names in this forum and no one else can use those nick names. No no no. Nicknames used on Topix are not registered or owned by any particular individuals. So do not identify an individual with a nickname. To make things clearer, here are some examples where one should not use names in commercial activities that are registered as trade marks example: - IBM - ACER - Toyota - BMW |

We are talking about war, can you stop changing subject? Of course there are some greedy officials who fail to do What BAC HO teach them and that is to be a good and bribery free government official. VN will punish him. you don't have to worry about that. There are bribery everywhere in the world, include the US. I know what you say but you should not discredit VN government for trying to improve those heroes of VN. It was bad before becuase VN was very poor. now VN is richer and government starts thinking a lot for those war heroes and their families. Don't judge the poor when they can't help others people. But judge their action when they become richer. Don't you think Everything is improved in VN? I do and that is the truth. VNmese people does not have to be afraid the government like before anymore. VNCH oversea keeps using propaganda like; VN oppress VNmese people. VNmese live under extreme brutality government, so on and so on. That is a lie and distorted. |
