The outside world has already render its verdict about Ho, Marx, Lenin and the rest of the comedians. How useful are these archaic ideas in a supposedly free market economy and globalization? Do you think Vietnam's youths will be prepared to compete with South Korean, Taiwanese, or Japanese youngsters in the race for global capitalism? LOL Please change the VCP's name to the Retarded Party of Vietnam! LOL How cruel child abuse is!!!! Hey allen, please comment on this silly curriculum from Vietnam Ministry of Education?

It's easy for you to look at the world with a gentle view when you have a comfortable life. Filling out a form for "legal" protest is actually a way for the CCP or VCP to track the oppositions of the party. As you can read, there is NO "legal" protest as "some 77 applications were lodged to hold protests, NONE went ahead" or NONE aloud to protest.

It very much resembles a robot type of thinking. Pardon me for that thought. Let assume I don’t understand what “freedom and democracy” all about. Why don’t you tell me what you understand about these two words? I talk a lot about what I understand, but never said I know it all. This is what I said - I come here to LEARN. I am about not to say anything if you can WRITE in your OWN words that explain to me what you understand about freedom and democracy. Otherwise I will ignore you as a pre-programmed robot trying to stop me to spread out my hope for a free and democratic Vietnam. Btw, your government of Vietnam is comprised of a bunch of very bad and too dumb VCs who keep claiming the leadership of people in Vietnam. This is very straight forward from my mind and yes, everybody in this forum know me by what I said about the Vietnam government.

Again, the guy from Long Beach, California, DEMOCRACY works anywhere and ready for any group of people. The problems are in the kings, the parties, or dictators trying to stop DEMOCRACY from spouting in their countries.
Please do not degrade the people of Vietnam by saying "something that works here may not necessarily work there until people "there" are ready for it."

I already ask you to tell me what you understand about freedom and democracy but now with your post above, I can be confirmed that you are just a robot or a parrot who cannot THINK. Just shut up and get out of here, I don't want to "talk" to you again.

So Uncle Tom 1) can you tell readers your understanding of Freedom and Democracy? 2) So can you prove that spreading words and principles of Freedom and Democracy is talking down VNese people and spreading hatred? Extra: What is the main reason of Freedom and Democracy work here or first world countries but not for VN in your point of view?

If you understand very well, please give comment on the issue of filling out forms for "legal protest" and NONE was awarded for protest? Please give your opinion on "legal or illegal" walkout by Vietnamese workers?
I might be a "humanoids made in USA" but my heart is out to the prisoners in VN, the people of Vietnam. Where is your heart?

In South Vietnam pre-1975, we did enjoy the very beginning aspects of DEMOCRACY under President Nguyen Van Thieu era. One of an important degree of democracy our people did enjoy in South Vietnam pre-1975 is the popularity of our people participation in selection of our local, regional and national leaders. This was an important practice and also important experience to our people about democracy. If I can recall, our people in the South did vote twice for president and vice president selections, also twice voted to select the entire House of Representative and elected the 60 members of the Senate. Our people also had selected hamlet chiefs and hamlet councils.
Non-communist oppositions to President Nguyen van Thieu were allowed to run for office, or the Congress, and were elected at many levels of our political system.
We had freedom of Press, freedom of religion and a very few restrictions or interference from the government on cultural or intellectual lives. Our artists, poets, writers can freely express their interest without much control from State. Our court system is also very good, though. We have trained and qualified judge, we have a rule of law, and we also have a court system that protects people’s rights.
Our democratic system was imperfect, but at least I can say our people had already encountered the very first system of DEMOCRACY and enjoy all the RIGHTS and the FREEDOM accompanied with it with no problems at all.
So why the heck is the VCs now telling our people to stay away from their rights and their freedom to choose their leaders? Why is the VCs now jailing all of our people asking for DEMOCRACY?

Or you are so ignorant about it and think Democracy is not for VNese people. You haven't be able to answer my 2nd and 3rd extra question here.
