So what is the difference between

some oilman in Houston getting
the money?

Makes no difference to me.

Let's see... keep going

Oil revenue (tax)
Auto manufacturers (tax)
Heavy machinery (tax)
Food exports (tax)

Notice anything MISSING if don't have business?

It's TAX !

And business tax pays for a lot of those things in life you take for granted!

So what in the world are you talking about.

Venezuela has oil. The head of
Venezuela has it refined and he
sells it cheaply to the people
of Venezuela. He can do that.

Not our business. Not our problem.

You don't get it.

You just care about you, and if you can buy gas.

The US needs tax money. The Texan pays taxes

What's the use... you haven't a clue...

Bush is giving away 700.000.000.000 dollars to bankers and millionaires, Chavez is giving new cars to poor people, certainly there's a big difference between these two presidents...

I think the movie was called "Dumb & Dumber"... it's an American movie (about Americans), but don't worry, Chavez is neither... he's real smart. If he can sell gasoline and oil (these big V-8's he wants to kill use a lot of gas and smoke a lot so they must use the oil too), instead of giving it away to his people for 0.097 BsF/litre), he will have more money to send to Argentina in suitcases. Next time he should just charter a plane, fill it with money, and make the flight. No one will know unless it crashes... Why involve the airlines and international check-points you know.

Like the CIA and opium shipments!

It doesn't matter that an american a$$es leaker like you attacks our president with such lies, we know very well what you are trying to do and simply don't care about it. Chavez is a good president and he is helping venezuelan people.

Thanks Chavez for that!

Communal councils, created by Chavez, are gathering people all around Venezuela to try to solve their community problems with the help of the government...

Thanks Chavez for that!

I sincerely think that this issue of Natural Gas Vehicle in the Chavez's plan isn't bad (air in Caracas is very polluted). The problem is that isn't simple to do quickly, and looks more as a wish than a reality when you 've to do it working.

Here in Italy 'll have probably the longest experience in Europe, since WW2 and Mussolini-era 'cause we were in very shortage of crude while we had a little of natural gas, then we developed the gas technology for car, and gas was the first branch of actual ENI.Just as Germans were the first in same conditions to produce quantities of gasoline from coal (Germany is rich in coal, while Italy is poor for coal. Up to now the Natural Gas Technology vehicle-makers in Europe are almost in Italy and Germany, while who produce the gas implants for vehicle are almost Italian and Holland firms. The most extensive grid of filling stations are in Germany and Italy. In South America this technology has been implemented in Argentina and Brazil, many years ago when they were poor in oil.

This technology costs, and isn't that simple. Gas is stored at 200 bars (atmospheres) which means heavy and strong tanks, more weight on the vehicle which needs some changes for improve its stability, room for tanks, some little but important changes on engines. A grid for filling stations with a safe technology and safety controls both on filling stations and tanks on vehicles. I don't trust in Chinese technology for these items and US for now has a gap that can easily be solved if they want. And costs, with dropping oil prices may be not such a bargain, but for a cleaner environment we can afford it.
I'm thinking about to buy my new car with NGT: Mercedes class B 170 NGT.

Gas from Petroleum is just a little simpler, but it's a lot more dangerous if there is a leak from a tank.

A few weeks ago, while buying gasoline at insanely low price, the people in the truck near me were smoking. One man just dropped the cigarette, maybe 3m from my car. He didn't look... he didn't think.

-Chavez government can initiate this big fat car change process
-Raise the price of gasoline, to make NGT/CNG more attractive
-They must have petro stations with this fuel in all of the country.

-Create incentive for TAXI to have this
-Control Taxi pricing with time or meter system

This way it is not practical to operate the big fat car on gasoline prices. Raise gasoline prices far enough, and the demand for NGT/CNG drives itself.

Eventually these oil countries (Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Mexico, Iran, Venezuela) will run out of oil and then they will have nothing left in the way of an economy. Who will they turn to then for aid?
