Accuse all you want. I post from facts. Your posts smell like azz, pure crap!
It will be interesting to see how Holidays go, a Venezuelan friend in Miami (there sure are a LOT of Venezuelans in Miami! Why don't they come back home? why are there so many illegal Venezuelans in Miami) said it's difficult to get a flight, with Chavez cutting flights. Thanks Chavez! Remember how much he loves his people!

Very Pretty! Only 99.9% to go!

It's a start, and we can all say,

Thanks Chavez for that!

And Thanks for moving millions and millions into foreign bank accounts.

He's not ALL bad, but he's STILL robbing the country! A little for show, a lot of money on the go!

Watching videos is really entertaining, I prefer to read and anayse data for facts. But that is how media works, it's fluffy!

What you will say when he pulled them out off banks?
USA will crack then at all.
So say "Thank you very much, Mr Chaves!" instead of critisizing him.

These are not a facts these are only only speculations, you're doing what every body does, read and believe. All those entertaining videos show things that weren't there before Chavez, it takes more than 10 years to rebuild a Country that was destroyed during more than 40 years specially with the constant attacks of the Int'l media and the Venezuelan opposition fucking up the country to make Chavez look bad.
Do you know how i know you don't live in Venezuela? I read your posts.

What brand of Vodka are you drowning in?

How is that?
Maybe the Bahamas or Grand Cayman or Argentina will have a problem with that. I don't have data on where he puts all the Venezuelan peoples money, but I doubt he will withdraw it to pay Russia CASH for submarines.

I criticise his criminal looting of his people, and strong-arm tactics and militaristic passions, not the social programs and re-building. He's not ALL bad. But he's far from a forthright and God-worshiping/fearing fellow.

Venezuela's GDP growth:

2004 = 18.3 %
2005 = 10.3 %
2006 = 10.3 %
2007 = 8.4 %
2008 = 6.0 %

Source: www.eclac.cl/prensa/noticias/comunicados/0/33... -

In spite of the disasters of the world's financial system which will affect the economies everywhere, Venezuela will be able to present a very strong balance of about 6% growth in it's Gross Domestic Product in 2008.

Thanks Chavez for that!

C'mon all.... Venezuela is SOCIALIST

I've been around, and the ONLY COUNTRIES I've seen where there's a photo of the leader or his name every where you look were COMMUNIST COUNTRIES
Let's review his "friends" .........
a friends just said.... WTF ... Really!!
Don't confuse dictatorship and socialism and communism. Practically all communist countries have been dictatorships. Mayne democracies, including the USA, have 'socialist inspired' laws and regulations ... thank God. The problem with the Latin American countries (Cuba, Venezuela, Bolivia, Ecuador) that want to go the 'socialist way' is that they are strongly leaning to dictatorships. Not that they are trying to introduce rules that would solidify their 'social contract' that would make the pursuit of happiness possible for a larger portion of the population.

VENEZUELA REGISTERS 20 TRIMESTERS OF SUSTAINED ECONOMIC GROWTH

Next week, it will be announced to the country the result of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) for the third quarter or 2008, which will show that while some world's economies are in recession, Venezuela registers "a substantial and positive economic growth record, "which drives government toward the goal established for current tax year, 6 per cent.

The statements were made by the Minister of People's Power for Planning and Development, Haiman El Troudi, during the journeys of Genre and Sensitive Planning and Budget.
Although he didn't specify numbers for the third trimester of 2008, after a growth of 4,8 per cent and 7,1 per cent during the first and second quarter of the year, respectively, the positive balance reflects that local economy registers 20 trimesters of growth in a row.

Thanks Chavez for that!

It isn't a magician:it's 20 quarters that crude price has been ever increasing. The 3rd quarter 2008 (July-August-September) was the last who benefited of high oil prices: the peak was in July. This week price was 58% off that peak: wait for next months...

OIL TO SHOOT BACK THROUGH 100 DOLLARS

The oil price will shoot back through 100 dollars a barrel as soon as economic conditions return to normal, and will break through 200 dollars threshold by 2030, say officials at the International Energy Agency.

The world energy watchdog is certain the "era of cheap oil" is over, according to research due to out next week.
The IEA cautions the low oil price will be short-lived. It expects oil to trade at an average of more that 100 dollars a barrel between now and 2015 as supply shortages become a reality.

The organization believes output from the world's oilfields is declining at 9 per cent."Current global trends in energy supply and consumption are patently unsustainable," the report states.

Today all commodities are low, except food and this affects specially some countries that import food and sell commodities.
For crude: best wishes.... 2015 it's a long time!
And what is forecast at that time for corn, flour, milk and eggs that you are importing?

Food items are renewable, you will always be able to produce them again, not oil, every barrel extracted is a barrel gone.
Read the report again: "output from the world's oilfields is declining at 9 per cent"

What is declining now is oil price:this is sure. Now your oil is at 52.96 USD/barrel. Tomorrow it 'll rise up (we don't know when), but in any case can't be at producers' desire. One may have different sources for energy (from coal to uranium, through natural gas and renewable ones) and one may cut it's needs with more efficiency and changes of habits.
What you can't cut to people for survival is to eat, world population is ever increasing and food prices are increasing in the whole world: Venezuela isn't an exception of the world.

Since 1958 Venezuela's population has grown from 6,8 to over 27 million in 2008. Therefore more mouths needing more food. While there is a finite supply of petroleum, there is also a finite supply of food. As there are more people, there will be higher demands for energy and food. Petroleum is NOT the only energy source. And while Venezuela's population grows, so does that of other nations. Charge what the market will bear, and limit production. It will also be most interesting as the world deals with natural disasters, and low-production years when food supplies are tight, to see the impact on the haves vs the have nots.

Our National Debt is the same as 10 years ago, as our standards of life that put "ours" in class "A", as the economy that also if at 0 growing is going on in 7th place on a world ranking.
WHILE WHERE ARE YOU?
Class "B" for credit ranking, standard of life compared to western Europe isn't comparable - UNO refuses to compare ... for countries like yours has a different scale. Better don't speak about corruption, civil rights and murder rate (rape of Italians for how often occurs there is a no news). Furthermore you are obliged to growth because is your population growing, and what is needed for feeding is every year more, while we are more stable. And just now oil prices that accounts for 95% of your exportations (then US Dollar income = real money) are 58% off respect peak level. This in spite of the recent production cut! Then your perspectives aren't pink.

RESUMEN
You are like an amateur playing in minor series that what to compare his scorings with a pro-player playing in first league club, and isn't realizing that his team is going to worsen his budget because there are less game-tickets to sell.
