Australia thought that the fact the soldiers of an army that had overthrown the legitimate freely, legally elected government of fiji, shouldnt be working for the u.n., perfectly normal!!. You will see your wrong again. The next link explains why resolution 1441 was even implemented. Notice the russian and french yes to the resolution, then a complete reversal when the u.s. actually started to wind up the machine to invade iraq. Keep in mind that the world operates on a scale you and me cannot comprehend, christ russia and china are having war games with each other. Australia should not and does not worry about Fiji as you guys think coz they have their own domestic problems to solve first, if the Aussie intentions were so genuin, they would have invaded Fiji upon Qarases request back in December.... its all rock and dom politics.

australia and new zealand didnt help when racist policies were in place and infect they were enjoying with what was happening in fiji.they didnt intervane from the very first coups in fiji when human rights and democracy was turned into a joke, why the hell are they interfearing now. if they want then they can help the present government and then lets wait and see what comes out in the next election.
they just want to play the blame game and make things look as if This coup has done a large damage when infect the damage was done by LQ AND his SDL party who took Fiji BACKWARDS.
just look at the sdl records and you will know better.
go back six months before the coup and see where fiji was going and then lets see what is your opinion.

just checked..they have an excellent records and won the election big landslide..highly favored by all communities domestic and internationally..
