Im an Uzbek girl,i have been living abroud since i was 13,now when i turn an age when usually girls in uzbekistan get married my parents are asking me to come back and get married to a guy i have never even seen,thats not fair isnt?it?i respect our cultur im proud im an Uzbek,but i have been livign in different society for so long i cant accept this,some more i have boyfriend,we are planning to get married,but not this year,maybe next year,we have siriouse relation,my parent know about this,they dont mind they like him,but they say wedding must be this year,if you boht dont manage it this year,you must ocme back befor ramadan have engagement a then befor end on 2009 have wedding tahts our wish.......dont know what to do ,i cant tell my boyfriend that he must marry me now,as that is forcing him,we both deceided to do it lil latter,and i also dont want to get marry to a guy which a dont know,my parent been meeting other parties parents and already planning to engage me wih their son,but i dont want,i cant take it,i resect my parents,and dont want to put shame on their face,but at the same time,i dont want to spoil my life,what to do..........

Oh wow, that is tough. Maybe you could stall them a little bit by telling them that you are engage to your boyfriend? That could give you enough time to get "ready" with your boyfriend for marriage?
