Yes you are right, Muslim can be anybody. Also, you can't say Jews. As far as i know if you accept Jewish religion you are jew. Anyways, I think Mark got my point, that's the main thing. Thanks for the comment. |

u can certainly marry a non-muslim chinese. But u have to keep a few things in mind:- This will be a difficult marriage so both of you should be prepared. you should be truly in love, wanting to spend ur life together. You as a girl will have to make adjustments according to your husband's tradition- if u do this , your husband will only love you more. I hope my advice is of some help. All the best. True faith is always misunderstood and shall be misunderstood with human conscience because the message was clear but the acceptance level of people were different making it evident to create different levels of Islam and same has been with all religions. Islam means peace and if some one falls in love with a non-muslim then the stage is all set to prior things which always takes the meaning away from the word " Islam = peace"

From what I know you can marry the Chinese guy as long as your parents are happy with the idea. Keep in mind that he will have to convert and become Muslim. You cannot marry a non-Muslim before he converts! Plus it is better if he does because if you have kids in the future, they will have one religion, which is 'simpler'...I hope I am using the right word. Anyways I hope this helps.. all the best.
