Scientists: Ancient rat was big as a bull

Imagine a rodent so big it weighs a ton and is the size of a bull. Uruguayan scientists say they have uncovered fossil evidence of the biggest species of rodent ever found.

Uruguayan scientists what an incredible group of thinkers, A herbivore Rat!
This was the same group that discovered electricity and invented television, the light bulb the phonograph the integrated circuit the air plane the steamboat and the automobile and don’t forget space flight to the moon. I have seen a Rat Skull and this photo isn’t even close.

It's a rodent, not a rat. It's typical of random non-scientific articles attempting to describe scientific findings to get it wrong, especially when writing headlines. It's more similar to a guinea pig.

As for Uruguayan scientists, what's your problem with them? There are quality scientists all over the world. I'd bet they do much better work than you could.
