another of the many countries that have learned not to trust the Bush CIA operations. Who are the friends of America now? much less than 7 years ago. We need to be open honest to the world not sneeky and try to influence governments to the ways of Bush Chaney ideals

Thhey will come around. The World is just paranoid right now because America defended herself against Terrorism. We didn't start this fight. The Arabs did. One day when we don't need their oil anymore they will all be crawling up to the Whitehouse front door begging for our support. You need to look at the bigger picture and not just what Bush and Cheney have done.

They are Communist Countries. What do you expect? If you agree with them so much why don't you go live there? I guarantee you won't last a week before you are jailed or killed.

Oh puhleeze! This is a judicial case. If anyone tries to bribe or threaten another individual on U.S. soil The U.S. department of justice has EVERY right to investigate and prosecute those individuals. http://www.usdoj.gov/opa/pr/2007/December/07_...
Chavez and Kirchner are crying the same tired old "imperialist conspiracy" to try and cover an embarrasing scandal for both of them. It's not working. Get your facts straight.
And as far as "not sneeky and try to influence governments" tell that to Chavez. Tell him to stick his nose out of the affairs of other countries and take care of the problems inside Venezuela.

I can really see that you never steped out of NY. You are very ignorant. Fisrt of all Argentina didn't even get involved in the war.
and if you were so educated and traveled person and have been in Argentina and watch the news, you'll be so horrified when you see the reality of this country that we live in.The news tell everything and you'll be surprised how corrupted this goverment is. But of course, the news here only show you what they want you to see.
Keep living on your American bubble and see how it works for you.
BTW Argentina is not communist, go back to school

Yawn.

Hugo's railing against America has become so commonplace, it's impossible to take it seriously.

Everbody is against America UNTIL they need us to feed them or save their butts. We as a country need to learn to say no and to mind our own business. We have enough problems here at home to take care of.

Guido Antonini Wilson got caught lying that he had books in his briefcase but instead had $790,550 when he landed at Buenos Aires' Newberry airport (Aeroparque) in Argentina Saturday August 4th 2007.
The passengers on the plane were seven Argentine and Venezuelan oil officials.
They came from Caracas, Venezuela.
Something very strange going on here.

The Argentinian Justice has confirmed the names of the people aboard the aircraft that landed in Buenos Aires:

Claudio Uberti , director of the government agency which controls the freeway concessions (OCCOVI) in Argentina, a close contact of Venezuelan President Hugo Chávez.
Juan Mussa, a Peronist leader who was present at the time has denounced that Mr. Uberti threatened the customs agents not to check Antonini's suitcase.

Ezequiel Espinosa, president of ENARSA, Argentina's state Oil and Gas Company.
etc etc.
Sure looks like bribes to me.

Of course. Then they blame the US. That's all Chavez knows how to do. If his ass itches, he'll blame the US. He's so ignorant.

Everyone in Argentina feels the same as the president? off course not. Don´t generalize.
Read about the news, and laugh about the silly local idea that its a political trap to destroy Kirchner.
Now, we use a phrase here, laughing at our president,: if anything happens, blame USA!(use it for te weather, a warm beer, a headache, etc)

Citizens of the world, you are blind of xenophobia.
It is a real shame to read these lines, and realise how narrowminded and ignorant some people can be.
