Argentines protest Uruguay's Botnia mill

“We're going to fight to the end until Botnia leaves”

Residents of the Argentine town of Gualegauychu staged their boldest demonstration in months on Sunday against a Uruguayan pulp mill whose construction has seriously damaged relations between the two countries. via Financial Times

Dear Sir. The Botnia plant in Uruguay will be a great boost to the Uruguayan economy and with to-days technology it will not damage the environment like the protesters are scaring people with. The Finnish owners of the plant are not people without conscience. Finland is a clean and beautiful country and Uruguay will remain the same as before - only wealthier.
Argentina had wanted the plant to be built in their country and I understand how upset they are that little Uruguay might be better off from now on.
I would advice the Argentinians to take this defeat more graciously and stop making fools of themselves.

Amen Rthomas. But as we know its just politics what Argentina is doing and they have no real issues, but what can u do if ppl r enough stupid that they will belive everything what some idiots feed to them, meaning Argentines who have no idea what they r talking about. Hope all ppl could read and get facts right, but no can do. Cheers to everyone and care and stop fighting:D
