Well why not, the head of Mexico has openly said they are retaking territory they lost in 1848 and our traitors in DC let them do it, why cannot England do the same thing for territory they lost a few decades earlier in 1783?

I did not see where he suggested the repeal of the Declaration of Independence. This is the spirit of what he said:
“So if the 1776 Declaration of Independence stated a self-evident truth - that we are all created equal – JFK’s Declaration of Interdependence in 1962 added another self-evident truth: that we are all of us - all of us throughout the world - in this together. Each of us our brother’s keeper, each of us - to quote Martin Luther King - part of an inescapable web of mutuality”.
This summarises some of the substance:
“I am optimistic about the benefits of interdependence, and certain that globalization need not be a zero sum game that says if China or India benefits America or Europe loses. Why? Because over the next 25 years we will see the world economy doubling in size, creating a billion new professional or skilled jobs worldwide, offering opportunity for any who have the creativity, ingenuity, skills and talent to benefit - a time of huge opportunity even if it is also a time of change and risk”.
He recognised the generosity of the Marshall plan,“which transferred 1% of America’s national income each year for four years to the war-ravaged economies of Europe — and saved the free world”.
He acknowledged that the USA cannot defeat terrorism alone:
“.. as [Mr Bush] and I agree terrorism will ultimately be defeated only when it is isolated and abandoned.”
The point of his speech,(for anyone interested) seems to me to have been interdependence of people throughout the world.
“American leadership is and will be indispensable.… I sense common ground between our two great continents in the urgent need for renewal and reform.
“And I also sense that this is the moment to bring in China, India, South Africa, Mexico, Brazil and other emerging countries to the heart of this debate – offering a greater role with the G8, to offer them more say in the IMF and World Bank, and to reform the security council of the United Nations”.
The USA is not alone, but I think the world wants US leadership that can be both influenced and followed.

I'm so glad he got his arse kicked in the recent local elections. Maybe once he gets defeated in the general election he will PI** OFF back to Scotland where he belongs eh.

I am so very sorry you have to deal with him. We have our battles here too as I am sure you know. I saw on the news a while back that the UK tax payers are getting to bail out their banks with tax money just like the USA. Amazing isn't it?

Hahahahahahaha...I can totally identify with you my friend. I hate with a perfect hatred these New World Order A@@holes in these United States of America too! But hey, we have a lot more room here and you are welcome to come to Arizona, where the air is fine and there are lots of Brits here already. Come on down, if you have the means too!

Maybe the question is: what will those third world peasants do when the USA isolates itself or is not supreme? Hopefully, they will be thoughtful and objective.

There is nothing religious in the idea that we reap what we sow (except the origin of the expression).
By the way, though the views are commonplace, I do not find either the language or attitudes of the posts from the UK generally representative of people in this country. Even the BNP seem more thoughtful, IMO. Thank you for the reply.

America should isolate itself. then we could see just how the world would go on it's own without all of our money, food, aid, technology etc.

not one of you bastards in Europe, thew Middle East or Asia have ever paid us back for all of the money we have given you.(save russia) all you cretins do is bitch about us but where do you go first when you need something? AMERICA!

As an American I would truely love to honnor your wish but as you see we have warmungers and baboons running this country right now and we Americans have as much control as you in the UK have . You see they , the new world shit holers want to take over the world and turn the intire place into a third world crapper . So sorry to say we cant be of assistance right at this point in time. You see we are sorta in the same boat and by the way we got terrorist comming here everday just search for yourself and you can find that is true. For the most part are media covers little truth and only kisses the ass of those they serve . So good luck to you and sorry were no help.
