Does anyone know the fate of the following resolution?
“House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) has introduced a resolution calling for a bust of former British Prime Minister Sir Winston Churchill to be placed in the U.S. Capitol, and the House is expected to approve the resolution on Monday.
If passed, the resolution would once again return Churchill to a prime spot in the nation's Capitol. President Obama in 2009 famously returned a bust of Churchill that was in the White House back to Britain, sparking complaints that Obama seemed to be diminishing the primacy of the U.S.-British relationship. Boehner's resolution notes that Dec. 26 is the 70th anniversary of Churchill's joint speech to Congress, and that Churchill was made an honorary citizen of the United States in 1963 and given the Congressional Gold Medal in 1969 "The United Kingdom remains and will forever be an important and irreplaceable ally to the United States," the resolution reads.
The resolution, H.Res. 497, will be considered under a suspension of House rules, requiring a two-thirds majority vote.”

When Bill Clinton heard there was a bust in the White House, he ran over there with dick in hand.

It was one of the very first Presidential acts of the new President within days of the swearing in, and it was suggested that it was because England was a country that dealt in slaves. It was a message to his black folks. Now when he knows that he has lost the white guilt vote he is pretending it never happened.

The gentleman should be fired.

Obama and his staff are all blithering idiots. I've never seen this many truly stupid people in one group since The Big Chill.

he also has a story that his kenyan grandad was tortured by the British. Even the present day kenyan government says there is NO record of Grandad ever being arrested. It is another made-up story like all his others.

Vera is probably visiting Osama and the fishes......otherwise she could be a millionaire........if Obama hasn't used stimulus money for her already.

I believe Airfix used to sell a kit for making these Churchill busts.
You can also pick them up for less than a fiver at car boot sales.

This Churchill bust problem is typical of the Obama administration. First lie, have another swear to it, then be forced to tell the truth, and look stupid. Everyone knew they sent the bust back to England as soon as Obama was sworn in to show contempt for a country that sold slaves. Now they have to admit they lied.

FLASH: THIS JUST IN…………Obama’s now claiming his White Mother is related to the first BLACK slave in America…….Making Obama’s white half, more authentic than his black half……….the only catch with the claim is as usual they can’t prove it..
