I think it's possible to criticize Islam for the terrorists and the things that are wrong within Muslim societies and still be tolerant of Muslims as we all know there are good Muslims who harm nobody. So when we non-Christians read the bible, we see what's there. Whereas Christians see the corrupt version in their minds. Like the verses you mentioned, say nothing stating Jesus is God. But you were told to believe it means Jesus is God, so they "see" that it does. Even though it says nothing of the kind.

If you wish to study this further, just get a bible that's at least 50 to 150 years old and compare it to a new bible. You will find lots of God and Lord words replaced with Jesus. Verses mentioning God the Father changed or taken out, or son of God changed to God, etc lol.

What a farce the bible has become.
