English law can’t bow to Islam and it won't. This is why: "Lord Chief Justice Lord Phillips said, "Those entering into a contractual agreement can agree that the agreement shall be governed by a law other than English law." (Both parties must AGREE to having sharia law applied, if one doesn't, then English law governs.) "Lord Phillips said Muslims in Britain could use Islamic legal principles as long as punishments - and divorce rulings - comply with English law." (If family and criminal sharia rulings don't comply with English law, they are nul and void and English law governs.) Divorced women must remain single. If they remarry they can lose custody of their children. There is no similar requirement for a man. "Maryland's Court of Appeals recently denied a Sharia divorce to a Pakistani man. The man's wife of 20 years had filed for divorce. To circumvent having to share their $2 million estate and other marital assets, he went to the Pakistani embassy and applied for an Islamic divorce. The man wanted to invoke what is known as talaq, in which the husband says, "I divorce you" three times and it's done. The Maryland court said, "If we were to affirm the use of talaq, controlled as it is by the husband, a wife, a resident of this state, would never be able to consummate a divorce action filed by her in which she seeks a division of marital property" and the talaq "directly deprives the wife of the due process she is entitled to when she initiates divorce litigation. The lack and deprivation of due process is itself contrary to (Maryland's) public policy." It'll be hilarious to watch who will be the cocky muslim dummies made deaf and dummier by demanding sharia rulings and having the English Law trump all over them ;)

There is an influx of immigrants from Asia in recent decades, therefore as there are mosque, there are also budhists temples, hindu temples etc. but I do agree Muslims have a bad habit of opening mosque in every street corner. I can think of two reasons from coming to know some of them - One is they think it is more showing of their supremacy. second is they do not get alone with each other. - No matter how many hypocritical stmt they make that Islam has no racism, has brotherhood and crap like that, they are only united if they have to do anything against non-Muslims, otherwise amongst them there are many chaos and hatred, which divide them to open new mosque if they can find fine people to go there to pray.

What i meant is look at the White sheep not the Black sheeps. We are not looking at Black sheeps in Christians even as they are 90%! Where does anyone read that barbaric sharia rulings will trump English law? What the top judge is saying is quite the contrary: sharia rulings MUST comply with English law. The other catch 22 for UK islamics is that sharia style court rulings (in compliance with British law of course)will have to be saught and agreed upon by all parties concerned in a legal dispute. This means that no one in the UK can be forced to proceed in an "Islamic" court. "Lord Chief Justice Lord Phillips said, "Those entering into a contractual agreement can agree that the agreement shall be governed by a law other than English law." I have faith in the English law and the English people. Once they get good and angry, no one will be laughing.
