A man has died after a stabbing incident in Elland, near Halifax

I know of both sides involved. put it this way if i saw kay and his family they would always say hi.If i saw billy and his family i would cross over the road need i say more

I know the farooq family and to be fair i didnt know billy khan personally. The farooqs are one of the nicest families in elland and have never been in trouble with the police. Billy khan on the other hand was like a duck to water when the police was concerned. I dont think anyone deserved to die but these yobs like billy khan and his brother need to understand the impact thier actions can make - not one famlily but several have been destroyed by this incident including the farooqs. These fights, threats and confrontations can escalate to extreme hights and now a persoan had died and three will face prison for a long time....over what!!!

yeah man - i heard billy and his crew weren't the nicest guys - but u know its too late now isnt it. mans in elland need to grow up!!!

I have heard so much about this incident and it makes me angry to find that the stuff you read in the papers is all rubbish, do the reporters forget to mention that this person Billy khan were involved in DRUGS!!! How come the reporters fail to mention that Billy khan went to the elderly man's house knocked on the door an threatened to Kill the father of Kayshan Farooq,no the papers just talk of how he was such a great asset to the community well it is the only way to sell papers. Do the papers fail to mention that The Farooq family called the police at 2'oclock on day of the incident when Billy Khan threatned to Kill the elderly man and what was the police response????- if it isn't an emergency we will be there in 2 hours????(a life is being threatned of course it is SERIOUS!!) Or does it just become an emergency once a life has been taken???
What is the point of the police patrolling the streets now that the incident has taken place?? I thought the police was there as a prevention? My heart goes out to Kayshan and his family who were just caught in the wrong place at the wrong time??? Whislt the actual people who provoked the trouble get away it seems scott free!!!!! and with a sympathy vote????

Whatever the circumstances, the rights and wrongs, the provocation, someone has killed someone else with a knife and will have to accept the consequences.

but the sad thing is this could have all been prevented an this person has not been killed out of malice or anything just a copule of people trying to protect there own family - if the tables would have been turned would it have been a 50 year old man that would have been killed?????

yosuf khan - now why isnt anyone surprised - this guy has had a reputation round elland since the 80's!!!!!!! got a 20 yr old girl pregnant although 7 years older than her!!- not mature to find anyone his own age!- the newspapers are the biggest joke - family man??????? to which family in elland?? this guy ruined lots of families!!!

I totally agree, my prayers and thoughts are with the farooq fanily also and hope for the best for them. About the papers printing the truth well I think it is bit late now as eveyrone has already made up there mind 1st impressions etc....
Plus the papers will only print what will sell!!!

And perhap you should take a closer look at the SHARP OBJECT instead of just KNIFE?. For instant Ben was stabbed by a turkish outside the bakery shop after smashing the glass by the counter.

Mass deportations?, why not? just deport them all back to where they belong?. That the only way Labour can get they're voters back.

In Bradford Asians have been arriving since the sixties, during the reigns of Edward Heath, Alec Douglas Home, John Major and Margaret Thatcher, all Tories! in addition to the collection of Labour clowns. Neither party despite its posturing has shown any real interest in seriously controlling immigration (the latest promises are a token gesture). Neither party has (perhaps more importantly) not shown much concern about the influx of Islam into the country, or the fact that where i live there are no go areas for whites.
My brain probably is quite small, i dont have a big head!

There is no way Labour will ever do that, it would almost certainly mean withdrawal from Europe to do it, there is only one party that would do both, you know the rest.

No go area for white in they're own country will lead to civil disorders and riots. The influx of paki's arrive in the 50's replacing the jews in east london as most hard working and clever jewish migrates back to isreal.

Now since labour came to power 12 years ago, we have over 3 millions uk alone and most of them are moslem. Labour had failed on crimes, labour had failed on economy since Gordon Brown panic sell 26 billions worth of treasury golds when he was a chancellor, however had cost the UK economy well over £90 BILLIONS and yet Gordon Brown is now a Prime Misnister?.

Your right, then again did'nt labour promise not to join the european union before they came to power?.

I have Known Kayshan Farooqs family since i was a little child they are the most kindful and respected family in Elland.
All i can say on the matter is that the police are to blame for what has happend as they never took it seriously when Kayshan's family gave them a telephone call.
It is making me sick to read in the papers that "BILLY KHAN" was some sort of an Angel when we all know that this is far from the truth! He was a thug!
My prayers go out to the three men having to go through this situtaion and there helpless families. Hope that the jury can see what decent men they are and were just protecting there family the question to ask yourself is that what would you do if someone came to attack you on your own doorstep??

This is such a tragedy for the Farooq family to be going through.
My heart goes out to the familys.
Dont even get me started on Billy Khan and his reputation in the little village!!!!!!!!!!
