A register sounds like a fine idea to me, so long as it's accompanied by harsher penalties for abusers, more refuges and safe havens for victims.

At first I thought it was a good idea, but after reading the story, I can see why people are skeptical.

U.S. doesn't have a domestic violence register, as far as I know. Even registered sex offenders are only on a state's list. And it probably doesn't stop anyone. But the domestic violence thing should be available before anyone says, "OK I'll go to a movie with you."

I'm not sure but I'd like to claim ownership of it. It's terrific for women. You don't always know who you're dating.

Oh cry me a fckin river. Another excuse to blame men for everything. Women are all perfect angels! What ppl forget is that woman abuse too, and not just physically, they abuse their position in society on an hourly basis. They use any one or all of the three T's to get what they want:
TEARS, TITS AND T*AT.

Errr. More likely the country that originated the idea of a government-run DNA database.

I think its the best idea has im a victim myself but cant and wont be able to speak due to threats and losing my children. I just wish they can provide more protection and to check dat da people who work there keep everything confidential has my partner knws alot of people and calls upon alot of favours and thats why im frightened. They should help the women that actualy need it...

Daily Horoscope for May 22

Taurus

The sad fact is that a certain person isn't making much sense right now. They seem to be talking nonsense, or maybe they've got the wrong end of the stick but are hanging on to it for grim death and refuse to let you correct them. Mind you, there's also the possibility that you're the one who has got themselves in a muddle but doesn't realize it. Scary!
