We have a cat who's over weight. All we give him is cat chow...just like the others but he continues to grow large. He's been fixed...but his girth is anything but fixed. LOL Still, we don't have a cat door since we live in the country so Tilly is safe for now.

I think it's just wonderful that the Post-Chronicle could work a couple paragraphs of story in and amongst the advertisements.

Why should the kitty suffer through a diet when she could just install a doggie door.
When kitty don't get it's breakfast kitty ain't happy, And when kitty ain't happy, ain't nobody in the house happy.

About the only thing newspaper is good for these days is lining the bottom of bird cages.

I can't stand the feel of newspaper on my fingers. All those ads, all those stories about murder, suicide, tax increases. I prefer the internet to get my news.

The only cat I ever loved was on the front end of a 62 Buick.

62 Buicks had a cougar as a hood ornament -- would not want all the cat lovers to hate me.

Why would it have a cougar on the front? I thought Buicks had hawks or some other bird as their mascot.

I knew someone would catch that -- 62 buicks actually had no ornament at all -- just trying to stay out of trouble with people that love cats. 30's and 40's had hood ornaments and they were neither hawks or cats. All in fun.

I did an image search on yahoo for the 62 buick and I see what you mean. At least it had three air intake trim on the front fender for style. Something that has come back full force. Even on the new Enclave. A very cool Buick BTW.

Next there will be a law banning you from feeding your dog or cat if they are over weight. When you take them to the vet they will be weighed and if they are overweight you will be fined or arrested.

The thing about laws is, all it takes is one ding-dong representative to come up with an idea and if it catches on we are all forced to conform to it.

Hey, was anyone able to pull up the article? I got disabled twice. What happened to the cat anyway? That must have been a big cat! Before we had our Lucky euthanized, he was 20 lbs. I sure miss that big boy!
