Attention Broward County residents: Call your Broward County commissioners and state legislators and ask why they are about to take mass transportation funds and spend them at a shrinking airport. These funds could be spent to provide much needed bus routes and east-west rail systems, and synchronized traffic lights It is inane to spend over $2 billion on an elevated south runway when the transportation needs of Broward County citizens are ignored.

This is of no consequence, as the ridership on this route was low.
Good point about shrinking funds being spent on an airport instead of helping daily commuters. Wonder what the multiplier effect of expenditures on airports would be vis a vis expenditures on local mass transit. |

You cannot charge less than it costs to fly or this is what happens.The big airlines can do it sometimes because of the sheer mass of people they move,but a tiny carrier ilke ZOOM should be glad they made it this far.5 months of service,that's it.And what is really the shame is that those poor people who had tickets are screwed to...go to you credit card co. for help.

A bicycle is the most efficient form of transportation we have. I.E. Bike == Gasoline Equivilent of 600 MPG. Additional benefits, a number of local area Buses and Trains have bike racks. |

I hate flying myself!they should take a trans atlantic ship back, their used to be one called the Titanic or something. I am not sure if it is still in service.

I don't know, but Zoom Airlines doesn't sound like an airline that I would trust flying MY family around. Maybe if they hired a PR department and didn't have a cartoon name they could have had a shot... |
