Legal Alien i've been living here for over 5 years and i do remember how people were treating us before poland joined EU. situation dramatically changed, and whose fault is that? Very true, but the majority of Brits did not vote to join the EEC, Those who voted were hoodwinked into joining the Common Market (an earlier version of the EEC) and didnt know that would lead to the situation we have now, it is NOT what i or any of my friends want, and i suspect its not what most people in Poland want, it was for you i suspect, a final gesture of the breaking of the shackles with Russia.

The truth is that when Britain joined the Common Market there were clear benefits from tariff free movement of goods, finances and people. And British farmers benefited from handouts for decades.

However a socialist superstate was always fought against. That was true when Thatcher was in power and should be equally true now. I'm sure Poland will do it's bit to prevent that ever happening.

You are the ones who keep bringing up WW2 fighter pilots, not us. Even though it was, as you say, over 50 yrs ago.

The benefits you receive from being in Britain are a better standard of living. A MUCH better standard of living. Not forgetting the bag full of cash you send home.
