Yes, and that's why the prize for the best grades in my year at my uni went to a Polish girl. Rikard, I guess Legal Alien was asking Mr Munis Shitman about the languages...:)I am Polish and I speak 3 foreign languages. Swedish, Norwegian and English. I haven't met more than 2 British people who could speak more than 1 foreign language and this only on the communicative level.

I'm living in GB for some time. But never before meet this attitude. I am feel very sorry for you that you look for a Polish ppl as one group.
Anyway I'm trying do not reveal my true nationality, untill get know sombody better.
Later on for most of you dosent matter what nationality am I.
But I'm proud that I have polish citizenship as well as a British.
Some time ago before big wave of migration, you was thinking diffrent about us. Is very sad that it changed so quick `couse couple of wrong examples.
True is that together with big migration many poles what could not handle situation in poland come over here like to promised land, planty criminals. And they showed us a very bad behaviour over here. And right know you think that most of us is like them. Is almost like saying that all germans are nazis.

i really dont understand why the british hates poles so much... i've been living here for 2 years already, enjoyed the country at first but now i'm really fed up with all these articles and tv programmes.. just cant stand that people who dont know anybody from poland, never been to our country etc.. have such a negative attitude. but what i noticed is that they are generally unqualified and then yes, if they see all these polish people working hard then what can they do? just bitch about cause they're too lazy!!! most of the polish people work in restaurants, pubs, factories or they are builders, nannies... jobs that brits dont want to take.. yeah, so much easier to take benefits, right? i dont know even one polish person that is taking money from the uk's government or the council flat.. i dont. i work, i pay taxes, i study here (pay lots for my education so why the locals are making me feel unwelcomed? also spend money in their shops and all these so what's their problem?). and please dont tell me english ppl are smarter or something.. their maths is just horrible, cant add properly!(level of primary school in poland..). and foreign languages.. every time i was talking with someone from the uk and was asking if he spoke any foriegn language.. the answer was 'no, i dont have to, everybody's speaking english now, they're not good at it but at least we dont have to learn'... think about it.. and dont worry polish people will not stay here forever - the money is not good anymore, you can earn the same in poland (and u dont have to clean or wait when u have ur MA).. im not gonna stay here, just wanna finish my uni.. and this makes me sad a bit cause now i do see that this country isnt so great and i definitely dont wanna live here, there are nicer places in the world!

Donna read what poeple are saying here ... that majority of the poles think they are better than brits, but why? as you mentioned most of us work in factories, restaurants, as nanies ... where do you want to really meet that educated british person (who would like to mix with you)? look at polish poeple who work in factories in poland? are they really so educated?
im from Poland, proud to be Polish, work as an accountant, all of my colleagues are english (not british, english), they are very nice people, hard working, don;t know if honest but i hope so. they respect me and i do respect them (and don't tell me that it will change with time because i have been working there for over 3 years). i hate when the poles are always complaining about this country, i love it as much as i love poland. i came here, i live here and i do respect the people and their way of life. But of course I say no to people like BNP, etc. it's a shame to this country and to really friendly people if they let you know them.

I would pipe down if I were you Polaks, British people have had enough of you walking around as though you own the place, taking our jobs and our houses and not doing anything to integrate into British society. Our people are in debt, and it's not long before they turn their tensions on you and when that happens you really will know about it! You don't mingle with our people. You always congregate in a corner at work, lonely and unwanted. One way to proove that immigrants don't mingle with locals is by looking at the high street which is often littered with Asian community centres, mosques, Polish shops, Polish recruitment agencies. Meanwhile, there is a Black Police Association. If we wanted a White Police Association, we would be 'racist' of course!

BNP for ever - all my Polish friends speak English and integrate into the society well. It annoys me, when people look down on me due to my nationality. Obviously everyone knows I am a foreigner because of my accent, but they can never place where I am from - they never even guess Poland, because I don't fit within the image media are showing. This is very sad. I spent all my adult life in Britain (I came here as a 17 year old) and I always tried to mingle in and make friends with British people. And I do have a few British friends, but it is difficult to integrate into a society that doesn't like you but doesn't know much about you at the same time and isn't even willing to learn anything.
About Polish shops - Polish food is so different to British, that it makes perfect sense to have Polish shops. The same way you have Italian and French delis.
And tell me - why are you screaming so much about Poles taking you job? If we are a bunch of idiots (as you suggest) we shouldn't be a threat to you, superior intelligent Brit? If you're threatened by a bunch of idiots, who don't speak English than it means you're not very good at what you do anyway.
