Peter, I agree that the British created havoc and chaos during the height of the British Empire in and around India. Their presence was a mixed blessing but on the whole was probably more negative and destructive than positive and constructive. They could be called vandals, thieves, robbers, scavengers, etc. in their efforts to "loot" the antiquities of Greece, Turkey, "Mesopotamia", India, Pakistan and especially India. However, the "loot" has been carefully and professionally preserved and much of it has since been returned to its rightful owners. I have seen much of the "loot" in the British National Museum and it has been protected, guarded and put on display for viewing by the general public. It has not been destroyed. Contrast this approach with that of the Taliban in Afghanistan in 2000. The 2000 year old great Buddhas carved into the sandstone cliffs in the valley of Bamiyan were dynamited by the Taliban because they were "unIslamic". The towers were of a light open plan structure.

The heavy components of the plane such as the engines, undercarriage and main load bearing struts are going to smash straight through it.
They are not going to bounce off the windows!

So very little is going to bounce off the walls and fall to the ground.
