I hear where you're coming from, but ... do you have any friends that are Muslims? I do. They are really cool. They can't convert me (one doesn't even try) but they will give me the shirts off their backs, if need be. Muslims are not lazy. They work their butts off. I have plenty of Mexicans friends but even they would agree that a lot of them are just illegal leachers. When Washington turns into Mexico, you may see things a little differently.

Muslims in America don't seem to behave like Muslims elsewhere. Maybe because we have been mulitcultural for so long. It's sad that you have been treated this way. Get a lawyer and sue their establishments where these incidences occured.

In UK there are whole cities that are no-go areas for non muslims ..

They did an experiment on TV .. hidden camera documentary - where a white non muslim girl went with an Asian boy - who was her friend, although not relationship friend ... to "his" area in a town in UK ... and she was made to feel like a whore .. names were shouted after her, she was hassled by some of the men .. the women even started throwing things at her ..

This is areas of London, areas of Yorkshire in the north ... And UK has been multicultural for many many years now ..

Sadly, the only people now refusing to integrate are the muslims ..

I have black afro caribbean friends, who have lived in USA, who say they feel more comfortable in the UK as there is less racism here ... But ONLY the muslims behave in a seperatist way ... isolating themselves in their communities and preaching to the rest of us how to live ... being offended and insulted at the slightest (such as Salman Rushdie, for example, being offered a knighthood - I dont particularly like the guy or his some of his books, but DAMN -- the muslims want censurship!!!)

What is the name of this documentary? I'd like to see the short on Youtube. One of my Muslim associates (no longer a friend) only had negative things to say about his host country. I got tired of hearing him trash America, so I dropped the friendship - though he's still around. I didn't tell him why I stopped hanging out with him. I was afraid I would blow up in his face over it. On the other hand, I have a true Muslim friend who loves America and is a super positive guy. I've known him for about three years.

I am annoyed with myself, because I just do not remember the name of this documentary ... It was shown a few months ago and I will try to find it for you, but have not had much success so far .. but I shall persist .. lol ..

It was shown on one of the UK terrestial channels . either ITV or BBC .. I think BBC, but as I say, I will keep looking for it ...

Here it is ... It is a Panorama (BBC) documentary .. which was made very unbiased really ..

However, it shows that there is huge separation between the muslim and the white areas of the same city ... mostly, I feel, due to the islamic religion ...

Beyond some racist flaming I find here, from people talking about Europe as if I talked about Japan, I can only say that I understand the "christian science monitor" posts something like this. It is like McDonalds talking about Burger King, or Disney about Warner Bros.

Once upon a time, when London, Paris, Madrid and Berlin were backwater villages, there was a place called Corduba, ruled by muslims, where 1 million people used to leave; and everything arising there, and being studied there, was seen as the mainstream of the World sciences.

It is ok to show your opinion about whatever subject, but I think that doing it with a little of unbiased knowledgement would be healthy. Most of those warmongers and haters have ever never known a muslim, and really can't find a point to maintain their opinion. It is Islam who brought us from India the numbers we use today. It is Islam who gave us a rationalistic philosophy in a time dominated by christian morality, whose built opinions were like reading a book you already know the ending of. Rationalistic philosophy today stated in the columns bearing the panamerican and European cultures.

I know many Muslims, have lived in a Muslim country, studied Islam, speak some Arabic, have a close Muslim friend, and am aware that once upon a time, 500 years ago Islam could be respected...even if it did inflict al gebra on us (j/j). But the numerals we use now are not used in the Arab world where they still use the Indian numerals. We do owe a tip of the hat to the old Islam, but at the same time we and they need to recognize that something went very wrong with that religion. Islam has produced almost nothing new in any science, industry, art, or society in 500 years. As the Western world explores the universe and the human genome, the Islamic world squats in squalor, tries to find someone to blame their plight on, and builds car bombs.

Islam is not a religion, it is a way of life, that existed to protect peoples rights, to spread good and forbid evil, to spread morality and fight immorality, to connect people with their Creator so they can understand their purpose in life. What is YOUR purpose in life. The purpose of a pen is to write with, the purpose of a chair is to sit on, but YOU, what is your purpose as a human being? Islam gives you the answer to that and this is why many are embracing it in the West.

seems to me that the puropse to many muslims lives are killing christians, jews and muslims who get in their way or break their rules.
