Always right. I am an American and that gives me the right to my opinion and to express it freely. First ammendment to the constitution. You remind me of some Americans that say if you do not think as I do you do not think at all. That seems to me as if you are closer to a dictatorship type mentality. Who is the traitor.

Always right wrote: <quoted text>You are an American traitor. I think you are a little off base there. I can sense your outrage but you must remember something. It is called freedom of speech. Without it was are just like Russia. I often agree with John.-- more often than not. However, he and I disagree about past and current (and maybe future) presidents. Our votes may very well cancel. That is ok, it is how democracy works. To call him a traitor because he has opinons different than you is just a little too strong. He still supports his country and wants the bet for it. If everyone in America thought just the same we would soon stagnate and fall easy prey to some sneaky weasel like Putin. I disagreed strongly with President Clinton, both politcally and morally. I thought he was a disgrace to the office. Other people disagreed with me. Instead of calling traitor etc. we let our votes do the talking. In November we will again talk with our votes. I have no doubt that the losing party will again cry foul, and try to overturn the election, that is the sad state that our politics have come to. However, no matter how the elections come out, those who really care about America and not just about power, will get behind the new administration and do what is best for the couontry ( like opening up new oil fields for drilling and builing new more efficient refineries). We will just have to wait and see how things play out. In the meantime, don't forget to vote- if you are eligible. To my mind a person who refuses to vote has no right to complain. GOD BLESS AMERICA

Oh, an addition to the above. Someone is bound to say "When was the last time YOU voted". I have NEVER missed casting my vote in any electrion since I turned of voting age. Can you other Americans on this Forum say the same???

My wife is from Hungary, As a american i feel ashamed about our view of the world and other people. Its sad but just like Eisenhower made eastern europeans believe he would help agaianst the russians we did nothing. The problem with this conflict lies in NATO. What do these countries do? Its a joke It is in Europes back yard more than the US, yet they dont ever commit to military action without the US help. Send German French Austrian, Dutch troops to fight russia first. Its always US Britian and Australia that has to do all the fighting all the time. As a veteran US soldier from the cold war era Russia always fights foes who they can beat ( or think they can beat..remember afganistan)They are no way as strong as they once were there equiptment is old, they do not stand a chance against american Airpower and stealth technology..they know it we know it but it is up to American leaders to make them know we will take you on if push comes to shove..if they think they can get away with this..they will.

Always right A traitor a loud mouth. Wow I am going up in this world. I have been called worse here than that. You have the right to your opinion but I do not have to agree with it. That is my right. Not only as an American but as a human. It is considered one of the basic human rights. Why do all these countries underestimate the Americans. They do it constantly pointing out all the faults of America and there are many. Never underestimate Americans. They are resourceful when need be.
