It looks like American lapdog Yuschenko is very upset that inspite of the facts that Georgia attacked and invaded South Ossetia, that Prime MInister Yulia Timmoshenko didn't condemn Abkazia and South Ossetia's Independence. Why should she if Georgia is clearly in the wrong. The cardinal sin seems to be that she is a thinking person instead of America's lapdog and doesn't yip and jump through hoops to Please America. Good for her, at least someone is thinking for themselves in Ukraine.

Russia you had better bring Ukraine kicking and screaming or whatever you have to do to bring them back under your sphere of influence. Ask any native american about dealing with Washington and trusting American Government leaders. You don't read their lips, it's their fork tongue that gives them away every time. They will be a thorn in your side if you don't reassert your geo-political interests in that part of the world.

Democracy in Ukraine, or anywhere else, in action will always confound those Russian chauvinists who know nothing but authoritarianism and neofascism.

Do you really suppose, that Canadian democracy is not managed by big business and a couple of powerful men? You blind man then.

In Ukrain is quite souvereign democracy but we can see, that it's not so effective as they wished. Finally, i think, that Yuschenko became president by non-democratic way. Orange revolution wasn't exhibit democracy, but just ochlocracy. Soon we'll see how democratic system will depose him. He is really political corpse, and a lot of ukrainians say that.

How do you explain growing pains to someone. It is happening here and the old generation is fading away and the new generation will bring some changes but change will not happen for at least another 25 years. The economy of Ukraine is growing and investment is good. That is postive signs for Ukraine. Politicions the world over are bad. Most of them.

We have a democracy? Lol, when did they slip that one in? What I do know is that we have a minority leader who hides behind barricades of military and state gestapo to have "Security and Prosperity talks" (the SPP, or better known as a bunch of "representatives" meeting with corporate leaders behind closed doors) and refusing to allow parliamentarians, intellects or even us "untermenschen" commoners to access or ask questions. Then they plant police in the crowds with balaclavas weilding rocks to try to incite the crowd to violence at the "battle line".

If this had been a real demonstrator, they would have had a couple clubs applied to their heads. Infiltrating cops, trying to incite violence, so they can portray the protest on their media as thugs.
