May be he is a crook just like his son who 'jetted' into UK and made an audacious 'offer' to buy Leeds Untited football club, until he was found out.

I understand EZRA his son has now 'ordered' a personal Airbus 380.

What do you gain out of reporting about this old man, and is it in anyway a catalyst in developing Uganda and Africa as a whole?

Kotecha should not insult Africans. All humans can be stupid, etc. This has nothing to do with political correctness. One can have a constructive criticism in the way a particular society develops its values, or not. No point in using a brush for all. It only tells something about the person commenting.

This concept of so called 'celebrity' worship HAS to stop when people in the countryside are surviving on one meal day.

We in Uganda have seen him dishing out over $100,000 in one go... he has given more money to sports in Uganda than the government has in 10 years, thats a certifiable fact. Who gives a f**k where his money comes from. The leeds board rejected his bid for the club coz they felt he didnt have the necessary experience to drive the club in the direction the shareholders expect. They had already conducted due diligence on him and even invited him for talks after confirming he had the cash so whats your problem.
Of course your indian heritage bars you from conceiving how someone, black even, can spend $260m on a non business venture. Well thats your problem not his, or ours.
We have millionaires in Uganda who cant be questioned by the govt coz you know why, TIA - this is Africa, we have our own ways of doing things, so stuff your chilli choked tongue and shut up , maybe make noise about the pollution his plane will cause from flying one man.

Where the goon gets money from is not our concern ; what's interpol and other agents doing as regards ascertaining the source? If his dad is being dragged to court for offering a bouncing cheque , it's their family affair. Who knows what their family members are up to . let's leave it to them , but we need to check our tongues/emotions .

NB as far as im concerned nobody has expressed their gullibility in michael ezra's wealth. it was simply a discussion about the mans father. so this stupidity thing that you've decided to dish out to the forum members beats me. lets just simply discuss in which areas he should be spending his money and hence developing uganda. ideas eh

All other countries in the world accept others people as their own.
