Sorry Girl, but circumcision GREATLY reduces penile sensitivity and pleasure regions. The combo of constant rubbing of the head, creation of scar tissue, and the loss of up to 15cm2 of nerve rich tissue has something to do with it.

That sounds like a load of krap. I've never seen any kind of scientific research that claims that circumcision decreases sensitivity, desire, or sexual activity, or reduces the amount of sex men want or have! And it certainly has no effect on stopping AIDS.

a) you don't think removing skin with nerve endings is going to affect sensitivity???? Do you know why your palms/bottoms of your feet are less sensitive then say your... tongue?.. or even clitoris?... Because they have less nerve endings and are constantly exposed to wear and tear! Just like a circumcised penis.

b)Circumcision was actually STARTED in the US to prevent masturbation... ie) removal of sensitive tissue and mobile foreskin would reduce the urge to masturbate. Why do think think cut guys have to use lubrication?

c) Circumcision definitely doesn't reduce the amount of sex they want to have... I don't remember anybody saying this... but it DOES reduce the pleasure they feel during it. It's not a surprise that circumcised men have to pump a lot harder to 'get off'.

d) Circumcision is supposed to prevent aids/hiv by "toughening" the head of the penis..(back to the loss of sensitivity/nerves again)
By toughening the head of the penis, it would somewhat reduce the small abrasions caused by intercourse and therefore reduce the chance of the virus entering one of these small abrasions. But don't shoot the messenger, I think it's BS too.

You have a point if we are talking desire and sexual activity--- but on penile sentivity the evidence is overwhelming.

To all: Why don't we wait and see if this works first, and then criticize it if it doesn't? You never know, this could actually turn out to be quite effective. I can't see why it would, but then again, I've been surprised before...
