It has nothing to do with that. they are tribes people so they don't think the way you or I do or would.

It's pointless because of their being in isolated tribes not because of them being more revved up than others.

If you have unprotected sex it doesn't matter who you are or where you live you can still get HIV/AIDS.

That is why it is a world wide epidemic, no a local African epidemic. Just go downtown Seattle to the local AIDS center and I am sure you'll see people of all colors suffering from their bad choices i.e. sharing needles and having risky sex.

Poor choices, not hard ons and horniness spread AIDS, their just the ends to the means.

AMAZING!!!!!!!! So does the circumcision include installing a permanent condom? If not, guess what? AIDS will still run rampant!!!!!!!!

I've never heard that a circumcized dick can be AIDs free. AIDS can be contracted through unprotected sex. It can also pass through needle sharing,through pregnancy by an HIV/AIDS infected mother to her fetus,and an infected blood that got in in someone's open wound.

There is actual research that was done that stated that a circumcised penis might be a little more resistant to becoming infected, but I doubt that it would actually protect someone from contracting the disease altogether.

Save for actual emasculation, rather than circumcision,the answer has to be cultural education- these are societies where women are considered not much more than pieces of furniture owned by their menfolk. Africa's not the only place this happens, of course: ignorance has to be stamped out all over the world. But it's like digging a hole in sand!

Actually, I take back (partially) what I said. A circumcised penis has less than half the sex response and sensitivity of an uncircumcised one. Hence, it may be cutting down on the amount and frequency of sexual activity.

The Ugandan government is by no means promoting circumcision as the only solution to the HIV scourge, Nor does it postulate that circumcision prevents HIV infection.They are simply adding circumcision to the pre-existing program coined 'ABC'( abstinence,Be faithful and condoms) to further curtail the disease.HIV infection rates in Uganda have generally fallen over the years.Indeed Uganda is internationally viewed as a success story in this respect. However a study done by the government showed that infection rates in married couples are higher than the national average---married couples are also less likely to use condoms(and this is a universal reality). Circumcising married man and continually advocating ABC will further help control HIV infection.

castrate the lot of them . This will stop AIDS and overpopulation. These blacks in Africa are so infested by now all the kids are born with it anyway. If they won't take simple precautions against catching it, and prefer to blame whitey as usual, there is a darwinian reason to let them exterminate themselves.

I thought ABC is George Bush's program ? for sex education? figures !
