Armenian Prince wrote: Georgians need to accpet that it was Armenians who gave them civilisation(Christian Religion, Alphabet, Kings and Princes). Armenians always formed the enlightened civilizing upper class in Georgia. If Georgians would have been left all to their own devices they would have been similar to their ethnically similar, Chechens and other wild and uncivilised peoples Caucasus. If there are any reaosonable and rational Georgians, they can look on their ethnically similar kin in Caucasus (Chechen, Ingush etc) and wonder why they are more similar to Armenians then to them. nobody cares whathappened thousands years ago..live in the 21st century.digging in the past makes you nostalgic and nothing in reality looks better than something in mind.

In response, Russia, which recalled its ambassador to Georgia the previous day and banned Georgians from travelling to the country, evacuated 84 diplomats and members of their families, a move some newspapers in Moscow speculated could be the prelude to war. ---------- Stellathomas Georgia Treatment Centers

Georgia is to close to the bears cave and you know what happens once you wake the bear up the next day you see 5,000 tanks on the streets.

VOR_Approach wrote: <quoted text> Is this TRUE? If it is, then Double WOW! VOR_Approach Why did Georgian help the Azeris to built the oil pipe line and now building a rail road which will isolate Armenia. Trust me sometime small countries are not able to make their own decisions.

just wanted to summarise my thought on what i've read here: oil pipeline - nothing personal; just a business - georgia has no (or very scarse) oil resources and hugely depends on imports.. pipeline going thru georgia is a supply security.. similarly georgia has been exporting azeri petrol to armenia when there was none (i've got this complaint from azeri guy in baku..)- again , business i had many armenian friends and none of them changed their names - its a matter of national pride, and if somebody's put lauzy uni or whatever above national identity you guys shouldnt call them armenians - call them sneaky b*tards religion: religion is not given to anybody by anybody - its a matter of choise: true that christianity was spread in armenia 1st ctry and in georgia on 4th century but the christianity started from western georgia, so it cant be imported from armenia:) kings: i dont know what tribes did the 1st bagrats descendants belong to but they called themeselves king david's descendants, who was neither georgian not armenian

small states: it is indeed impossible to keep political independence when you are only 4-5m and when you leave in volatile region ("of strategic importance"), and when you dont have any f*king oil in your soil... but one has to maintain a cultural and national independence - which we both manage well so far all in all: we have nothing to fight about, and nothing to share.. we need to be good neighbours that will make us both stronger..

Oil make Azeri wealthy and it make the region unstable, which means they buy weapons and threaten Armenia. Anyways Armenia will overcome all this and will even win in this race. Armenians are educated people and can think we are not barbarians like Turks and this is the century of technology. Armenia will soon be advanced in technology will produce lots of goods that will be introduced to the world markets with the help of Armenia diaspora. I wish the same to Georgians good luck! Try to stick with Armenians because Turk is a Turk and if they suck Armenia next will be Georgia.

But If Georgia Supports Turkey and NATO, we will surely drift apart. We know that Georgian Mensheviks Gained for Georgia What was lost to Armenia. But If we think of us as together, then we can find peace to raise our children in peace for years to come. People of the world. You deceive! World mass media conduct propagation of a false information. Russia DID NOT ATTACK Georgia! 07.08.2008 at 22:00 Georgia has attacked South Ossetia. At 3:30 08.08.2008 tanks of the Georgian armies have entered into city Tskhinvali. Artillery bombardment all the day long proceeded, fights with use of tanks and heavy combat material, both against ossetic armies, and against peace inhabitants were conducted. 1400 civil people already were lost. The Russian peacemakers have arrived to South Ossetia in the evening 08.08.2008 for settlement of the conflict and prompting of the world in republic and protection of the Russian citizens living on territory of South Ossetia. Georgia has attacked South Ossetia on eve of Olympiad, it is top of cruelty and cynicism.
