Sahakian,

I am sure there are many smart Armenians who have accomplished a lot in Science, Business, and Art. You should be proud of those people.

As for Turks: In Ottoman times, the Turkish culture was such that becoming a businessman was not of much importance or a symbol of statue. That is why Turks left the businesses to be handled by Armenians, Greeks or Jews and they were interested in politics and military. The most honorable thing for a Turk was to be successful in Military. That was simply the culture. There is nothing good or bad about that. So, Turks worked hard to become Pashas (equivalent to generals), not businessmen.

Yet, in modern Turkey, Turks proved that they can raise great people in business. There are many Turkish billionaires (Turkey ranks 6th in terms of dollar billionaires in the World). And they have accumulated their wealth by working hard, not through corruption at the expense of others, the way as it happened in Russia.

There are many Turkish firms operating all around the World from Africa to China and Russia. e.g Coca Cola's current president, Muhtar Kent, is Turkish.

The starter of the thread is right.

Kurds and Armenians are primitive people.

They claim descent of the ancient "Aryans" that looked like Swedes, yet, they don't want to accept when Turks came to Anatolia, they all were living in caves...

Just look at the famous "singer", in fact a monkey: IBRAHIM TATLISES ..
He told with pride, "I was born in a Cave in Urfa" ...

That's what Armenians and kurds have achieved, they're from the same ugly and inferior race...

Armenians and kurds = mix of Semitics + Gypsies ..

Bow down to the Turkish Race ...
Turan Pride ...

And yes, Japanese are good race ...
not like the kurds or Armenoοds ...

"Turks worked hard to become Pashas (equivalent to generals), not businessmen." ??

Actually, this was not the case from mid 15th century to mid 19th century. The Ottomans mostly used the devsirmes (blood tax) to train high rank officials such as viziers, grand-viziers, pashas etc.. Here is a short list of "devsirme" grand-viziers served to the Ottomans:

-Mehmet Pasa (1466): Greek.
-Mahmut Pasa (1453, 1472): Greek
-Gedik Ahmet Pasa (1474): Albanian
-Hersekzade Ahmet Pasa (1497): Slav
-Hadım Ali Pasa (1501): Bosnian
-Kocamustafa Pasa (1511): Greek
-Dukaginoglu Ahmet Pasa (1514): Albanian
-Makbul Ibrahim Pasa (1523): Italian
-Rόstem Paşa (1544): Albanian
-Semiz Ali Pasa (1561): Slav
-Sokullu Mehmet Pasa (1565): Serbian
-Lala Mustafa Pasa (1580): Bosnian
-Kocasinan Pasa (1580): Albanian
-Kuyucu Murat Pasa (1606): Croatian
-Topal Recep Pasa (1602): Bosnian/Serbian
-Tarhuncu Ahmet Pasa (1653): Albanian
-Suleyman Pasa (1655): Armenian
-Koprulu Mehmet Paşa (1656): Albanian.
-Koprulu Fazil Ahmet Pasa (1661): Albanian
-Amcazade Huseyin Pasa (1697): Albanian
-Daltaban Mustafa Pasa (1702): Serbian
-Kavanoz/Nisanci Ahmet Pasa (1703): Russian
-Hekimoglu Ali Pasa (1732): Italian
-Alemdar Mustafa Pasa (1808): Albanian
-Mahmut Nedim Pasa (1871): Georgian
-Tunuslu Hayrettin Pasa (1878): Circassian
-Mahmut Sevket Pasa (1913): Circassian
-Misirli Sait Halim Pasa (1913): Albanian
-Ahmet Izzet Pasa (1918): Albanian
-Damat Ferit Pasa (1918): Albanian

In order not to leave any ground to the unnecessary crown/dynasty/tribe conflicts which can risk the existence of the Ottoman state, the Ottomans usually refrained from appointing our own people as pasha, vizier etc..

P.s.: Some of the origins shown above may be incorrect..
