Excuse my ignorance - but what is the Hadith? I know the Qur'an is like the Bible or the Torah.

Also - I read your post - are you a muslim? Your post - was it meant for satire or was it meant to insult? I read it and got that you were insulting the religion - but again - I know nothing about Islam so please - can you inform me?

I agree...but...to be tolerant of others means that they must live with you side-by-side – in order to experience the differences and accept them. Basically, even to this day - Turkey and Turks in general are still suffering from the lack of ethnic Greeks in Turkey (and they may not even know it). No country is a saint including Greece - but what I was trying to point out is the differences between the two and how - because Greece is fortunate to have Turks in Greece - it has taught Greeks to not hate Turkish people - because we have realized that people are the same regardless of who they are – as we live side-by-side with them.

Why is the Ecumenical Patriarch of Istanbul under constant verbal and bodily threat, even to this day?

Please do not tell me he is not because we (Greeks) know that he is. What I want to hear from you (who is posting as someone that states they do not hate Greeks)- is how can the ordinary, everyday citizens of Turkey allow this to continue – if as you claim – Turkish people do not hate Greeks?

There are less than 2,000 ethnic Greeks left. Why doesn’t the everyday Turkish citizen stand up for them and protect them against the abuse that still happens today?

This is what I do not understand. There are less than 2,000 and getting smaller by the year – yet still – they are shunned by ordinary Turks who ‘claim’ they ‘love’ their ethnic Greek citizens.
