Turkey and Azerbaijan have long extended their hand for peace and friendship. Unfortunately, it is Armenia who wishes to live in the past history of hatred and war, and bloodshed. Armenians have committed many atrocities against Turks both in Turkey and Azerbaijan. But, apparently no one is interested to hear this as if the Turkish victims were an alien species from a different galaxy. This is verification for human ignorance!

Enough blood has been shed from both sides. It is time to move towards peace. Nagorno-Karabakh has never been a territory of Armenia. The Armenians living there cannot make Karabakh a territory of Armenia. In the same way Armenians living in France or America are no excuse to annex these countries to Republic of Armenia. Armenia with the help of Russians has also occupied other territories of Azerbaijan. Some suggest these are compensation for lost territories to Turkey! This is no rationality. If someone kidnaps my child I do not go and kidnap the neighbor’s child. I go to the police. The controversy about Ottomans deliberately massacring Armenians in thousands is a fabricated and lie by certain anti-Turkish groups for well-defined political reasons.

This is a historical matter that must be investigated internationally within academic corridors and not by the political parties, national parliaments and governments. Therefore, instead of this or that government issuing anti-Turkish statement I suggest that an international panel of independent historians who are academically well-established scholars with balanced views on Ottoman period be formed. The expert Ottoman historians who represent formal positions of Armenia and Turkey can also join the panel. The panel investigates all the existing historical documents and other artifacts for as long as it takes. The panel can have formal access to historical archives in all countries especially the countries involved. Turkey has taken a big step in this direction by opening the Ottoman archives.

Could you provide examples of this "long extended their hand for peace and friendship." Just curious!

There are few opinions on where the name Adana comes from.Of course non has got anything to do Armenian which was always small and dependent nation situated very far from Adana.
Some Armenian moved to Adana during Byzantine times and started to live with Arabs,Kurds, romans Turks living there.
In Homers iliada there are people called Danaans.
Their leader is Achilles(Read akilli)
Akilli means Clever in Turkish.
Adana was swamp area then. And there lived many water buffalo. In fact you could see many buffalos when I was a child. The Turkish for buffalo is Dana.See where the name comes from? You people always think in terms of near History. But throughout History Turks moved back and fro to Anatolia many times!
So Adana was a Turkish city right from the start.
turks are mongols they have nothing to do with adana it seems like you have already forgotten your history.

East Roman Empire did not allow Armenians to enter Istanbul till Turks took it. Tashnak terrorists killed 2 millions Turks with tsar's weapons, then Turks killed Armenians and exiled them to Syrian and Lebenon. This is the story. The problem is" armenians never say how many millions of Turkish women and children they killed.

If there is Armenian Bishop in Istanbul that is because of Turkish Tolerance in history,

If there are no Armenians in east Turkey, it is bacause of Turkish Revenge of 2 million innocets babies, women, the elderly as well.

We do not sound as much as Armenian Fasists in Europe, but Turks know very well how many Turks were killed by Armenian tashnaks. Every registration and proves is ready in archives but none of armenians want to read.
