He is not as bad as Talat pasha, the genocidal, murdering maniac, who thought he could justify killing thousands of Armenian children by claiming they were traitors. But even if he was, being sentenced to die for committing crimes against humanity is not the way I think he wants to go out. Turkey has been already smuggling weapons to the rebel army by way of al qaeda.. Where you been? Syria is turning into just another terrorist haven, chit hole like Pakistan.. pff

Who looks like the idiot with an egg on their face? Is turkey still going to remain in the mouth mode, trying to lick the egg, while encouraging CERTAIN "Rebels" to give him the excuse to legitimize her dreams?

The Alana Kalana Project wrote: <quoted text> How is the rebel Free Syrian Army any better than the Assad army? It is the rebels choice to risking their own children's lives in these dreadful skirmishes with Assad's army not Assad. One army allows them to be human targets and the other army shoots at them. The rebels fight like hamas" fighting till there is not one civilian left alive to shield them with" Don't be so willing to believe Assad would be so eager to end up with a saddam's fate that he would start openly massacring innocent people. This is the observation of the UN Observers, you decide:: The Syrian army on the ground in Houla and their political masters in Damascus say it was the work of “terrorists”, by which they mean the FSA. Soldier after soldier insisted to us that the FSA was a mixture of Afghan, Libyan, Iraq and Moroccan mercenaries. They offered no evidence to support this. Yet all around you in Houla, there is compelling evidence to suggest it is Syria’s government and Syria’s army who are telling the lies about the massacre on Friday. The evidence is simply this: the fact that in Houla right now you still find civilians where the FSA control the ground. Yet there are none (except corpses) where the Syrian army is in control. So you ask yourself this: why do people remain in one area and not the other? Why do civilians apparently feel safe with the rebels? Why have they fled the area controlled by their own government’s army? We cannot be sure as yet. But since civilians do not feel safe under the protection of their own army it suggests they perceive a link between that army’s shelling and the murderous Shabiha who came afterwards on Friday in Houla and will surely come again.

Except most of the airforce are Sunni and have already said they will not attack fellow Sunni. I do not know which band are in the elite force so do not have an opinion on that.

What professional, trained army do you know of who leaves that much evidence all over the place when they are trying not get caught? And only Islamic extremists are that unstable to remain with rebels who are getting them killed. Now ask your self this, how many stable people you know who would be willing to stay with an army not powerful enough to stop the government's army from killing them? BTW- how can the people living in Damascus NOT feel protected by assad's army when they are not being killed or forced to flee?

Sure however the Assad regime is exacerbating the huge sectarian divide while shooting his citizens. The Syrian regime/dictatorship blames the west which is BS he created his own problems by mistreating his people.

Now the question is; does Assad have the right to massacre and displace Sunnis to protect Syria's unity? According to TR, he Does not have any right what so ever, yet they keep denying their own crimes 1000 times worst than what Assad is doing.
