Brother Atilla...
TR and Azerbeijan were ,are shall be always brothers yet there is a lot more then just brotherhood at stake here.

The Armenian youth has nothing to do with anything negative about TR and i`d like to think, vice versa from here and even azerbaijan...

In short the youth of all three and even georgia must amend the wrongs of the past and celebrate the coming of the new millenium together for everybody`s future..
Armenians themselves have also been victims of never-ending disputes, wars and frictions too.
do you think that most of the young armenian soldiers that were sent to the border to fight the azeris actually wanted to foght and die so some of the politicians would feel a twisted sense of pride,of course not but by prolongiong the agony of these people along with so many azeris, georgians and even turks in the area we are doing more harm then good..
Azeris have a gret chance of taking the high road and try directly to have a dialogue between them and armenians as them alone can solve the issue of the invaded azeri lands..to be honest if azerbeijan gives solid guarantees along with UN monitoring that nobody will be harmed in these enclosures and they`ll be treated as normAL AZERI NATIONALS NO MATTER WHAT RELIGION OR ETHNIC GREOUP THEY ARE FROM,AND CONCLUDE THIS SORRY STATE OF AFFAIRS then i know for fact that in around 2015 there will be no armenian or azeri wars-as azeris will have the most petrodollars to spend on weapons by then but the income will decline afterwards-instead the money would have been used to enrich the azeris and the region as a whole..this is a good opportunity for us all to get rid of centruies old malpractises of harming each other whenever we can and live in a never-ending-war-story ,rather than build infrastructures and businesses to take us into the 22nd century..
le`t not be as stupid as our descendants have been in the past and keep fighting wars which has no winners but losers.

as for me,i`d love to have the opportunity to welcome all these youngsters from armenia along with the azeris and the georgians to come and stay in TR,become comrades, friends, lovers if the need be,so this inhumanity ends and ends for good..
i hope you all join me in well-wishing to those brave youngsters to say what they say ,and this time at least notice their plight and extend them a friendly hand, then we shall be able to solve all the issues there are.
I know my people are the most hospitable people on earth, let`s show them what we really are like.

Great article!
To Turkish fanatics I'll say this. You keep bitching and moaning about illegal Armenians working in Turkey but even with border closed Armenian tourists pump money in Turkish economy as well.
"Rich families from Armenia go to Turkey's Mediterranean resort town
Antalya each summer to spend their holiday, said Aslanian. According
to official figures, approximately 70,000 citizens of Armenia spent
their summer vacation in Antalya last year, he added.
:
That's a serious number of Armenian tourists with border closed. One can only imagine how much Kars and easren part of Turkey will benefit from direct open borders.
I should point out that Turkish products are floaded in Armenia but unfortunantly going through 3rd party routes therfore making it more expansive to transport then it needs to be.
Time is ripe to move on.
Noone is 'bitchin and moaning' as you put it, about Armenians moving into Turkey for work. There are illegal immigrants in every country, more in the U.S then in any other country, and sometimes people feel threatened by illegals for taking jobs away from citizens, that's all. With this particular issue,it shows that Turkey is not a threat to ethnic Armenians ...besides this, there are a large number of ethnic Armenians who do reside 'legally' in Istanbul. I'd say it's a wake up call to Armenia, if its citizens are leaving their country to go live with their number one enemy.
