Do Turkish men like Black women?

I'm dating a man who is Turkish and I am also a Black American woman. Everything is cool between us and for the most part I don't look at him and see that he's not like me. That's pretty obvious in lots of other ways. I've gotten over the stage about worrying about what other people think about us. I think it has bothered him at times because other men will look at me or just try to make comments out in the open.

It's not about them it's about us. In this world, it's so hard to find thorough people. So when you do, make sure you keep them in a close circle of friends or associates. If you want to know anything else, let me know.

"SWEETIE" You don't need anymore advice. From what was said on here and just your common knowledge about this group of people you know what the odds are. I think your playing with fire. No one is worth going through a bad time in your life. This guy may very well be "O.K." but is it worth it?

What about when you "fall in love" and your emotions are all involved. You won't be able to end it with the same ease as if you didn't go out with him to begin with.

The truth is you have had a couple of people come on here and "respectfully" tell you the truth about their culture. However, maybe 1 or 2 come on here and tell you to ignore them and then you do? You even had a racist one speak against us. What more do you need? Sounds like your mind was made up to begin with. You wanted to date this man, so you did.

It aint worth it girl. I just hope you don't end up hurt in the end.

You can hardly see any black people in Turkey. For that reason, a relationship between a black woman and a Turkish dude will be much more like a experimental type. Each party observing each other. Like you're from space. Nevertheless, Turkish men treat any foriegn women very kindly. So go for it!

Turkish people are not racist as greeks or armenians or white europeans. But when it comes to black women... I've dated alot of black women here in the united states and its something about that brown complexion that turns me on. That's why i love the united states because every race is here. But I love me some brownies...

One weird thing is that my friend doesn't want anyone touching him or his clothes if he thinks they have eaten and not washed their hands. He washes his hands before AND immediately after he eats. I don't know if that is OCD or cultural.

First of all, I don't understand why someone has to be called a "racist" if he wants to marry a person from his/her own culture and produce kids who will not have conflicts where their backgrounds are.

I don't say I will never marry a non-Turk, because I know one's heart does not listen to borders when it comes to love. BUT, I don't want to marry a non-Turk. If I ever date a non-Turk, I don't lie, I say it is not likely that we can get married when the girl asks me.

I respect every ethnicity, I don't see any human race superior to another. To me, individuals are superior to each other but not the ethnicities. But, I don't want to marry a non-Turk, and honestly I don't like it when other people do. And I don't think that should make me a racist.

What I observed in US is: Most of the smart and culture-aware Turks choose to marry with Turks. The ones who are more liberal about marrying non-Turks are those who are Americanized in their attitudes, unaware of their culture and origins. And I know about several divorces between Turkish and American couples, yet I also know several cases in which it works smoothly. So, it all depends on people. But I am out of it..

I am a black female currently in a beautiful relationship with a Turkish man. He is very sweet, caring and loving. I don't know what it is about Turkish people but they're so friendly and nice. So to answer your question YES some Turkish men love Black women and are open minded to them. I agree with some other posters too Turkish men tend to prefer Turkish women the most, but I think that applies to all races of guys. I say go for it.

You know something? Your post reminds me of my man and I. He is so proper and kind. He is aware of the stereotypes that are portrayed about black women and for that he says the most beautiful things to reassure me that black is beautiful baby. Although I'm a lighter skinned female he has been with black women before who were darker than me and tells me darker the better.

He loves the curves on black women. He appreciates our lips, booties, hips, legs and every other feature you can think of. He loves our mind, body and souls and is quite the gentlemen. He's so soft spoken and treats his women like queens and he's amazing. I can go on and on about him. So you've mentioned some good points but this one is ready to settle down with a black woman and isn't opposed to it. He doesn't have plans on moving back to Turkey but if he does I wouldn't mind going with him. I've noticed there are a lot of Turkish gentlemen in this forum but I think I am blessed to have found the sweetest one. I love him and wouldn't trade him for anything or anyone in this world.

Question for the Turkish men, if you had or have a daughter, what woudl you do if they dated a black man? or if you have or had a son would you allow them to date a black woman?
