In return he was given permission to attack Armenian Republic to retreive Erzurum, Kars, Ardahan...., before starting the campaign against Greeks on the west.

Turks think they "beat Armenia" by taking the western provinces, when actually they conspired with Soviets and got permission and got help with money and arms. I have seen some sources that state this, if you have any more sources of where you got those facts please also name them so we can have the record here.

the treaty of Unkiar Skelessi was signed in 1833 between Russia and the Ottoman Empire. The treaaty was part of a rapprochement between the two nations and basically stated they would support each other if attacked by a foreign power.
