Why do other Pacific countries DON'T have a king and a queen? And why are some Pacific Island countries still claim they have a king and a queen when they are no longer Monarchies?
Why not search the Internet?? LOL....

it was once stated as pride for our country that we are along with Thailand the only two countries in South-east Asia Pacific were never colonised,
I think this boast today is very hollow, since we are now being slowly colonised by the yellow China man.
For a nation that is in the image of God, this is a tragic and terrible time
this criminal Micro minority called the Royal family, their gangster mates and national rapists, are destroying our country in front of our eyes
it is time to have an insurrection, it is time to demonstrate and two we expel these criminals from our shores

it's self-evident that the Royal family,in Tonga has passed its use by date. The struggle for freedom will not be won in one day. It is critically important to preserve the tongan culture as a beacon of light to the rest of the world. Every patriot in our country should do whatever it takes to defend the people from tyrants. Every tongan deserves medical care, education, freedom from poverty, respect, dignity, age pension, freedom from oppression, and the due processes of the law

i understand those issues but can we intergrate the solution with our monarchs who can alacate duties and offices to the right people to address this.. why should we change our way of life because we dont fit what the whiteman profiles as a good society..

Remaining sovereign just means you legalize a Criminal organization at the top . The Monarchy . raping, stealing from the people . " PAY UP SUCKAS !"

Most of us Tongans are trying to move forward, and keep on track with civilization, unfortunately, culture and tradition plays an important role in our society. Changes are then dragging. Tonga's poor in resources (raw) that might attract investors or powerful countries to take over. The only investment that is promising for most families right now and the future of the country is Education, I think, but I can be wrong.
So HardGhee, it's not that we are still living in the old ways, we are slow in accepting the new ways no matter how much we think we do. If you read through different comments made in the "Tonga Forum", everyone is someone in a Tongan Society. Most arguments are about "who's who", and no one really notice that our economy is at its worst state. Economy doesn't really care if you're Tongan or a king or a pauper, it goes with which country really cares about themselves..... lol.

It is not what you have but What you do, resourcefulness was our way of life, intelligence was our way of action, sadly you fools choose to be superstitious with fake god worshipping and licking the muli of the royal family and houeiki. Real Democracy has NO place for a king, Switzerland is the worlds longest running democracy, sadly, corruptions by the banksters is unstoppable.

Daily Horoscope for May 22

Pisces

Things are not always what they seem today, so be careful. Someone might appear to be completely honest but turn out later to have been fooling you in some way. Or a situation may seem quite clear-cut right now but forthcoming events will reveal that things are very different under the surface. So be wary about who and what you believe, and don't let anyone push you into making important decisions today because they may not be in your best interests.
