How does Gambian men compare to Nigerian men

Hi folks I have been out with nigerian men and have had such a bad experience, that I have given up on them as they are mainly liars, cheats and scammers, I have now met a nice Gambian may but I am afraid to commit to him in case he turns out to be like the nigerians, after all Gambia is in West Africia

you want to say, lets not judge and give every one a fair chance, but with these nigerian, you can't its their nature to be the way they are so sad

It is only fair to give everyone a chance, but most of my friends who have gone out with nigerians have all had bad experience, with cheating and lying nigerian men, Very few people have nice things to say about them, I do have some very good nigerian friends, who are really nice people, but to enter into a relationship with them and look for commtment, seem to be a different story,

Im going to Gambia soon with my partner, I think this is the only way I will know if I should get seriously involve with him, as Gambia is mainly a Moslem country, and support polygramy, so I dont want to be involve with a man that has a wife and children in another country, which is the case with most nigerian men

Its difficult, I've been out with both Gambian and Nigerian men, I find Gambian men very selfish, but polite.as for nigerian men. forget it, I have been out with 2 of them and found them to be liars and cheats. The only thing they got going for them is that they are good in bed, unlike the Gambian me.
Im going to gambia at the end of the month so maybe I'll meet a nice one there and settlen down with him.

I not long got back from Gambia, and i met a wonderful man out there we fell in love during my stay, but Im not sure it was true love,I was giving him money to show me around as he had no job,he says he loves me very much and wants to marry me,but now im back in the uk, we talk regular on the phone, he text me about 4 or 5 times a day, declaring his love for me,but now he is asking me to help him by sending him some money,it is to help pay for his children's keep as his mother looks after his 2 children. I did promise to send him some money when we were together,to help pay for his childrens school fees, which is about £150.00 he needs that in nivember, but this week he ask me to send him £20. to pay back someone he owes money to and put credit on his phone so he can keep in touch with me. am I being used or does he realy love me

Hey Shay i think you should read on in some of the comments above that not everyone was slagging off nigerian men they were actually backing them up compared to gambian men.as like me have never had a bad experience with the nigerian guys i know part from being played but any guy colour,race and culture does that.i think your comment was harsh and was not thought out as you didnt read the posts accurately.

I went to Gambia earlier this year, and had such a wonderful time, that i cant wait to go back,I love the country and i loved the people esp the men, they are so sweet, yes they try to chat u up and say lots of nice things, but i just took their comments as compliments and said thank you. I was shown around, taken out to clubs in the evening, yes if did cos me money, but all holidays cost money.

I did not go with any intention of meeting a husband or a lover, I just wanted to see the country, I think the people are good people, I did meet nigerians in the hotel, but they were up to their regular crap, trying to get me into bed, where the gambian men were just trying to sweet talk to make some money to survive. people from every nation cheat, lie and scam, but I dont thik we should compare them. love all you wonderful Gambian men

I recently broke off a long term relationship with a Nigerian and I am happy to say it is finally over..on my end. He still thinks that we are together and refuses to leave. I am looking for a Gambian man because I have heard sooooo many positive remarks regarding their character.

It is not that Nigerian men are better than Gambian men or vice versa...but it is startling to me the amount of people that have negative things to say about Nigerian men. It is hard not to beleive that some of these stereotypes have a hint of truth behind them.

i have just recently discovered that my boyfriend of 2 years gambian international seyfo soley is married with 3 children from different women.
i trusted this man so much and was ploanning on marrying soon but now he has disapeared from the face of the earth after i lent him thousands and thousands of pounds.he promised to pay me back afew months later but has now refused to give me any of it back.
he played for preston north end fc a year and a half ago but when he left he told me he didnt have any money and his mum was dying in hospital. his wife has told me this is what he does to women when in actual fact he has money. i dont know what to do. im heartbroken and hes distroyed me and my families lives. he coudnt get a team due to fitness but i think seyfo soley is to busy conning women now than his football career because its over or him
