I can't believe the ignorance and lies. The facts speck for themselves she assisted in the murder of her husband. This was a brutal crime yet many try to make it a political issue generating hate against Iran. Where is the Photo in question? The western media have presented no facts and this is a disgrace. She has not ever meet the lawyer who makes these claims and there is questions regarding who the person that claims to be her son is. Where are the facts? The fact is she confessed to involvement in murder. see here: http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/video/2010/au... Now your media claims this confession was from torture, where is the evidence of that. there is only speculation and lies. It is US that make torture not Iran. Ask yourself what sentence has she received for her involvement in her husbands murder???? and What sentence has she received for Adultery? She will be hung not stoned as stoning is outlawed in Iran.

Ok, just the facts, where are your facts? The facts are she and most women are treated very badly by countries like Iran. Having been in Iran, Iraq I can attest to the poor treatment of women. I have seen these same religious nuts profess their religion, and then go to England and party like there is no tomorrow. Yes there is a very different standard for men and woman. Take your bullchit somewhere else.

What is truely dumb, is that this feminist assumes I'm male. LMAO!

Let's not forget that the woman slept with another man and cheated on her husband. Women rights is not about fcking around and cheating on hubby with other men. Or is it?? In a way it's funny that an adulterous women lika Carla Bruni is defending the Iranian woman now. A whore that slept with hundreds of men defending women's rights. It just made the Iranians angrier. I can see them shouting "Alla Akbar" like wild rabid animals hahaha

I can see them shouting "Alla Akbar" like wild rabid animals hahaha Ha, ha, ha, the misogynist Alexander the Great (not!) shows his backwards mentality!! You must still be living in the Middle Age... Women should enjoy the same rights as men. That's equality and fairness in a modern world. If it's alright for men to go bed-hopping, sleep around with many women and cheat on their wives when married, surely the women are entitled to the same thing, don't you think? Or maybe you are one of those uneducated chauvinistic pigs who still believe that in the 21st century whomen are still inferior to men and should only be treated as their property? Women can be promiscuous just like men; they have the right to enjoy their body the way the like and with whom they like too. If a woman is a 'whore' in your eyes because she had several partners, what do you call a man who do exactly the same? With this post, you show that you are no better that these backwards Iranians who wish to stone that poor woman. But anyway, who are you to judge other people's private life? And how does it affect you? Are you projecting your own inadequacy to deal with rejection?

Do you think that this woman should go free for drugging her husband and conspiring to kill him? Do you think she should go free for covering up the murder and being accessory to murder?

I don't condone adultery, but if I was married I wouldn't want my husband to get his head cut off if he cheated on me. Maybe some marriage consoling or a divorce would be more effective. Don't you think? Why should everyone suffer because 2 people cheated? Is there 100% proof that this woman had her husband killed. Or did her jealous sister inlaw make up some lie? I know how families can start a lot of drama.

Over the last 15 years no more than 20 people have been convicted of adultery and it is always in relation to hanus-crimes that accompany the adultery. Take for instance the hanging of Vali Azad last year he abducted and brutally raped a young girl. The charge of adultery was used for two reasons one it made it possible to give the death sentence for this horrific crime and it also vindicated his wife who was brought much shame by her husbands actions. Despite the Iranian government supplying photo of him with noose around neck it was still claimed he was stoned in capitalist media http://news.sky.com/skynews/Home/World-News/S... If you are against capital punishment that is one thing but to spreed lies and misrepresent the truth is another. Iran is one of many nations to have capital punishment so signaling out Iran is not right.

I just don't like injustice, I will speak against it if I'm in the African, Mexican, Indian, or Russian threads. It doesn't matter the country. This happened to be the Persian thread. I don't have anything personaly against Persians, I just wanted some clear understanding on how women are treated. That's all. As far as the man that raped the girl, I am glad he won't hurt children anymore.
