I am looking for a way to contact a customer service rep about this cruise. We returned home yesterday from a weekend aboard the Bahamas Celebration. We would like to warn people about the uneasiness of the ship itself. Because it was formerly a ferry boat, there is not anything to stabalize the ship durning rough seas. The majority of the passengers aboard durning the weekend, were very sea sick. We would also like to let future customers know that most of the crew, although very willing to help, did not understand English. We had difficulty ordering drinks in the lounges on several occasions. We would also like future customers to know that when you arrive back at port after the weekend (one day in Nassau and one day at sea), you will not have any access to water, food, or drinks while waiting to get off the ship. This wait can last for several hours. We left out on Friday, arrived in Nassau on Sat. morning, left Nassau on Sat. evening, arrived back in port in Florida on Monday morning approximately 10:00am. We were at sea for approximately 41 hours straight after leaving the Bahamas. Please be prepared to not be leaving the boat. There were many unhappy passengers aboard when we sailed with this ship.

Thank you,

Lori Wilding

Lori,
You seem surprised that the ship was not docked for 41 hours. That is indeed what a day and night at sea is!
You seem a very inexperienced traveler who, I am sure, has not cruised before. Next time do your homework, understand what you are buying and everything will be great. And if you do post again, do not let your naivete ruin waht other people may enjoy. Qualify your travel expereince and let people know you are not an expert.
Go to their website, get their number--800-520-2410. When you call ask for a customer service rep. and they will direct you or give you a number. Not too hard!

We were on same cruise as Lori. I do not know of any sick passengers. For us, it was as promoted, an inexpensive Bahama getaway, our first little cruise. We were ok with all the amenities. The interior is brand new, all decked out, nicely finished. I thought the crew was wonderful. I only speak English, and talked with several of them on brief elevator encounters about their lives and experiences - where from, all that - they were very accomodating and pleasant. The delay was due to a security problem that was handled professionally and without fanfare. I would not expect it to be routine. We would like to go again.

I was also on the same cruise. I thoroughly enjoyed my self. It was a nice little get-a-way cruise. It was also my first. I would recommend it to anyone for the first time. You get a taste of what luxurious cruise would be like and at the same time you're not at sea a tremendously long time. Of course you have to pay for thing that would probaly be included in the more expensive cruises but, I just spoke the magic word, "expensive"
You get what you pay for and I feel I got my money's worth. By-the-way posters I was in the group with the 4 girls that I know everyone heard laughing all over the ship.

Just returned from the two night cruise on Celebration. What a great time. The crew could not have been nicer and I cannot imagine what that lady is talking about.
The newness of the redecorated ship is wonderful - colorful and the ship is great. Rooms are small but how much time do you spend in there? Food was excellent as was the performers at the shows. All in all, a great time and wonderful ship. Do not let someone who would probably complain about the Waldorf stop you. Go have fun.

I was on the same cruise as the disappointed lady and I had a wonderful time. This was my first cruise ever and will sail with this same cruise line in the future. I do wish that we could have spent more more time in Nassau though.

I just returned from a three day cruise on the Bahama Celebration. This was my wife's first cruise and we had a great time . We spent a great day touring NASSAU in a limosine and the tour guide "Big D" was excellent. Lots of fun things to do onboard and when we docked on Monday we eat breakfast on the top deck while waiting to disembark. Hey Mon! Good Times were had by most that we encountered . Met some nice people also.

We where told it was a newer ship it is very old and it smelled awful please beware of the flase pictures they use on the web the ship looks nothing like it and beware of the timeshare people who say you won a wonderful cruise they dont tell you ,you have to sit for almost 5hrs of them trying to talk you into a timeshare you say no and then they get another person to talk to you and it goes on and on then they set you up in a run down hotel not fit for a dog i ca go on and on please dont go and waste your time or money

My husband and I were on the 3 day cruise in mid April and had a blast. This was my 5th cruise and we thoroughly enjoyed the sail to the Bahamas. We too ran into rough seas and the ship stayed docked at the Bahamas over night (rather than leave for an evening at sea). We were able to get off the ship and shop & dine in Nassau that evening. By the next morning the seas were much calmer and we spent the day (and night) at sea. For the price, it's an excellent bargain and has all the attractions of other ships, but on a smaller scale. Our room was extremely small but we rarely spent time in our room, so the the coziness was not a problem. We've been on European cruises, and this ship reminds me of their lines. I would definitely do this cruise again. Fits the bill, literally.

Loved this cruise! My friend and her daughter and my son and his best friend all went on the celebration cruise 3 day May 1st to the 4th. We had a blast! A short but sweet cruise. The price was right. The kids graduate this year in 2009 so we thought us moms could take them on a cruise and not break the bank at the same time. My brother and sister-in-law surprised us at the port and joined us on our trip. The day at the beach in the bahamas was wonderful. The staff on the ship are friendly and the food was great. We had a smooth ride and no one was sea sick. I would go on the celebration cruise again!

Stop going to timeshare presentations for free travel if you are not interested in sitting for 5 hours. The timeshare people paid you a cruise to sit with them for 5 hours. Nothing is really free. Cmon you're smarter than that!
Next time. Just buy a real vacation. Save yourself time and hassle and ultimately money.

May 22-25, 2009 Bahama Celebration Cruise

We just got home from a 3 day cruise to Nassau. We are avid cruisers and this ship was good. For the size and price you get alot. My only complaint would be the air in our room, it was muggy and humid. But overall the food, entertainment and staff were great. I would definately go again.

Me and my wife and some family just went on this cruise and it sucked! I guess I'm a little biased because we took our honeymoon on another cruise line the week before. We left on Fri. June 19 and returned Mon. June 22. I have 4 complaints. 1)We had no clue about the fuel charge-we thought it was included in the price like the larger cruise line. 2)I was mad at the fact that we had to pre-pay gratuities that the staff didn't earn. We had 1 glass of water with every meal and that was it. And when you wanted to ask for something, finding a waiter was like George W. finding Bin Laden. 3) Unlike other cruise lines, I was asked every 2 minutes if I wanted a drink. This really got on my nerves. You can't relax when being pestered to buy a drink every time you blink. 4)For this to have been a newly renovated ship, that didn't skimp on anything except the AC! It was cooler in Nassau than it was in our stateroom. The last morning, I was sweating when waiting in line for breakfast at 6:30am. Even the staffers were wiping their faces. This was my the 3rd cruise in my life. I will NEVER set foot on that boat nor will I reccommend it to anyone else! Just remember, you get what you pay for......

Spend a little more money somewhere else and go on a real cruise-this is not a cruise ship-the crew really tries but the ship is a hoax-this is what people get for going to a timeshare scheme-believe me -stay away!-they offered me a free trip because the ship was so out of order and I will not waste my time

Daily Horoscope for November 8

Cancer

Try to find a balance while the Moon passes through your second house of personal finances, challenging deceptive Neptune in your house of other people's money. You may be giving away too much, whether it's tangible or intangible things. Then again, this is a potentially spiritual time for you. Just remember, you don't have to give away everything and join a convent to be cleansed.
