In September 2009 my exhibition entitled "Genocide" will open at The United Sardine Factory Modern Art Centre in Bergen, Norway. I would like to put my web-log under your attention.

www.theunitedsardinefactory.blogspot.com/

Within the project I have been asked to put up one of my works for sale for charity. It concerns my oil-painting entitled "Krabbeklør" a flourishing trade in body-parts.(see attachment below). On common agreement with my art-agent in The Netherlands (Mr. Howard Myers, Studio 2000 Blaricum) I will donate all benefits to The Tanzania Albinos Centre and will announce the sale and designated charity on my web-log at the USF.

With kind regards,

The human capacity for discrimination and hate based on skin color is seemingly endless. I just finished reading a piece about Indians discriminating against dark-skinned Indians. Now I read a piece about people discriminating against those with light skin. What is this all about, anyway? Why do we care so much about skin color, one way or another? I'd love to hear some theories.

Widespread education is needed to dispel these ideas rampant in witchcraft. How to accomplish this? I don't know.

This is absolutely insane. I've heard of strange witchcraft methods before, but never involving an actual human body part, at least not in this century! As Janet says, there is an immense lack of education there

I did a little research on this phenomenon. On StumbleUpon, people are labeling this as "Humor." Not "News" or "Tragic" but "Humor." That makes me sick.

Gee, that's a pretty unfortunate cultural belief to hold on to. Anything that involves making beverages out of dead people legs should send up a few red flags.

I never thought about the presence of albinos in pop culture. There are not really any portrayals of albinos as normal people. They are either, villains, as said before, or not present. There need to be more accurate representations of people suffering from albinism.

I know. The only albino I can think of is the albino from Angels and Demons by Dan Brown. The character is so tortured... Dan Brown isn't exactly the goodwill officer to those with albinism.

Daily Horoscope for December 18

You'll be in a better position to get on well with someone who has power or authority over you. This might be your boss, some other authority figure, a friend you really respect or an older relative. Maybe you should chat up your superiors at the office Christmas party... or make more of an effort to understand what makes a certain person tick.
