Look at the mess that is Taiwan today. Partisan politics, something that has been deemed harmful to the well-being of the state for centuries in China, now by the spin of the west, become a source of misguided pride by the fools.

China will NEVER annex Taiwan. Even the KMAT would not allow it. The only time when Taiwan and mainland China can become one is when the communist government collapses and democracy is restored. The politics on Taiwan is only flawed due to the Japanization of the island from 1895~1945. Had there been no Japanese influence (or in simple terms, Taiwan independence ideologies) on the island, the politics in Taiwan today would be rather different.
China is virtually 30 years behind Taiwan. What you see in China today was what Taiwan was like in the 1970s and 80s. Today, it's virtually following Taiwan's footsteps. China's entertainment industry only grew after the handing over of Hong Kong and its music industry is almost dead (let's face it, if you can name more then 3 popular mainland, non-hong kong pop singers, I'll give you my head).
To this day, Taiwan remains free of mainland control. And it will stay that way as long as communism exists in the mainland.

China annex Taiwan through economy influence. Taiwan's economy now pretty much rely on China. China is no. 1 import place to Taiwan, and Taiwan's businessmen have to relocate business to China in order to survive in competitive world market. International companies from other countries shifted office, headquarters from Taiwan to mainland China. Taiwan's glamour could be in 1970-1980s, but no longer be that greater any more. That is why wealthy Taiwanese live in mainland China. Taiwan's movie stars and music stars do the same things, expend mainland China market, otherwise, they can't live within the small island. If mainland China cuts the tie with Taiwan, Taiwan's economy dramastically is broken to turmoil.as mainland China won't. No wonder Taiwan government has made many regulations to stop Taiwan companies inflowing into China in order to revive Taiwan's economy, but it can't stop!

Daily Horoscope for November 26

Sagittarius

The mood is considerably lighter as the Moon enters Aries and your fifth house of romance and creativity today; plan to enjoy a good time tonight. Make a play date with your inner child and forget about all your responsibilities for a few hours; you've been working hard and deserve time off for good behaviour. Just remember, no drinking and driving... hire a cab if you plan to go out for the evening.
