In 2002/2003 I went to syria(Damascus) to study Arabic. I stay with a syrian famiy.
I would like to recommend this family, they are so nice. They treat me like a part of the family.

They have a big house in Babtuma(close to everything.The accomodation is not expensive. Please be careful with others adverts from agencies!! they try to charge as much as they can.

The idea came after years of experience working with students who were having problems finding housing in Damascus. We saw how moving to another country can be fraught with difficulties - differences in language, culture or business practices, and difficulties in meeting people with similar interests.
