Syria, Iran blocking Lebanon government: Christian leader

Syria, a minor player on the world stage, has nothing to offer and always makes the wrong moves. And we all know that Syria wants Lebanon, the Israeli Golan Heights, and 7 billion dollars of American aid. And going to Iran for support will again be suicidal for Syria. For Saudi Arabia, Egypt and others are enraged today, finding the Yemen Coast Guard seizing an Iranian ship with weapons destined for the Shiia revolt against the Yemen government. Poor Syria (or the ruling Assad clique) never learns.
